I know for a fact that if you go off roading in a FGT, it will turn a dusty white/gray.

MSTER232, just get proper screenshots instead of blurry photos of your telly.

That's what I do, I take an in-game photo of the car, not an off-screen dodgy photo.

Just noticed you need a caterham. I can send you one.

Thankyou thats very kind of you but Im not connected to PSN at the moment. I need to get a better internet connection. :)

nice thread... I did the NS4h recently.. and my RX7TC went quiet dirty..looked like the sides have been treated by burning tires...
I'll check whether it still looks the same when i watch it in the garage or gt car wash...

If the new shine of a wash is real, it's not terribly evident. The reflection of your newly washed car on the floor after it spins around and dries off? Much brighter and "cleaner".

Also, if dirt would add according to mileage used cars would be dirty when you buy them. Since their oil never gets changed before you own them, why should they be washed? My oldest car is a C1 Corvette with a mileage of 399,856 kilometres and it looks clean. How is this possible?

I have never known, seen, or even imagined any used car dealership that did not clean the cars in their inventory before selling. But there probably are some shady businesspeople who will sell whatever used merchandise that anyone is willing to buy... maybe they are in GT5.

I would say that it does give a glossiness to the car, especially after longer races. Even though the car can go black during an enduro, aforementioned, it seems to clean itself - not entirely as far as I can tell. The car model whilst viewed in the garage to me seems pretty dull. However once washed does seem a little more shinier.

I'll see if I can get a video soon to see if this is actually true, however.

I ran an FGT in the Indy 500 in B-spec, and the car had all this chalky white dirt on the rear spoiler that wasn't there anymore when I washed it. So, I guess car washes must do something. Though, best way to test this would be to do a long enduro in a white X2010; then you'd probably be able to see the dirt on it.
