so over the winter i decided to make some carbon fiber paddle shifters for my g27. I think they turned out pretty well. here are some pictures of them finished.

Some Qs:
How many layers of material did it take because those look pretty thick?
How did you cut them, CNC?
It's made from a 2 mm pre preg sheet of carbon fiber. I don't know how many layers it is. I hand cut them with a hand saw and some files.

Yea great job but I was thinking the same... How much did that cost....I dont really see the point to be honest....No offence....We could just stick CF film on our paddles>>>....Im sure you had a lot of fun doing this and your having a great buzz telling everyone....in my Eyes its a pointless waste of money...sorry
 
Sorry for my first reply. I still think its a massive waste of money but you have given me an Idea. So I guess it wasnt pointless afterall.:)
 
They look good!

I got some(black steel) off Chilicoke when I put a 35cm Momo wheel on my G25 and have just added some (fake) carbon at the flappy end.

Yous do look better 👍
