Looks teh same as last seasons with te exception of a few sponsors, that winglet next to the cockpit and the BAR 007 style front wing.

I agree for the most part. The only things I can notice right away are the enginecover (sleeker) and the arms to the suspension (they seem to be curved).

Here is the rest of the release dates for each team!

Sunday 14 January - Ferrari

Monday 15 January - McLaren

Tuesday 16 January - BMW

Wednesday 24 January - Renault

Thursday 25 January - Honda

Friday 26 January - Red Bull

Friday 2 February - Williams

Wednesday 7 February - Spyker

TBC - Super Aguri & Toro Rosso

If RBR and STR do what I think I remember them doing last year they ma be launching together..

Great, so the engine is further forward and they have a seamless shifting gearbox. Congrats.

I’d say they have 3 months to refine the aero, but they’ve had that situation for the last 3 years and made absolutely zero gain relative to the field. Saying that, the car does look like it will be marginally more efficient that the TF106.

Leaked shot of the Renault R27 wich had it's first shakedown today at Silverstone.

They’ve made the upper planes on the front wing a lot bigger. The nose cone also looks like it’s a bit thinner, but it’s difficult to tell from the angle.

Looks good, pity the drivers won’t deliver (Heikki will not win the championship on debut, and Fisichella will not win the championship) unless all the other teams fail to make a competitive car. Which I doubt.

It may be difficult to see in that photo but they have mounted the mirrors onto the sidepods.

Very clever in my opinion. Also that front wing looks very much like the one Ferrari had on their car last year.

Oooo that Renault looks funky! As for the Toyota, I think they have just re-released the 2002 car... Not much difference livery wise anyway..

Oh man, they’ve put the mirrors on the shields... that’s interesting.

EDIT: Ash, can you please use thumbnails? We don’t all have broadband. 👎

If I was toyota I would just give up. They are just wasting their money year after year.
So where's Audi's F1 entry? We've been waiting 68 years...besides, we know Toyota will likely not quit Grand Prix racing until they win a title, barring the company's profits disappearing completely.

I like the dark blue on the Renault, but somehow I think they'll keep the French Blue they've used (thanks to Mild Seven).

I think Mild Seven has been raplaced with ING (hence the dark blue).

Interesting to note. The top teams always have distinctive cars each year. Look at any Renault, McLaren, or Ferrari from the last several years, and you can easily tell which year it was from. Midpack teams? Not so much. Super Aguri? Well, they were running a 2002 car...

That Renault looks a lot sleeker. It departs quite a bit from the norm. I'm not so sure about the batman-style front wings. The Toyota is a bit disappointing. I would have thought they would at least do some major restyling.

It will prob win a bucketload of races but that livery looks horrible.. Too much red!

I think the new Ferrari looks great! The new front wing looks amazing! And they have a totally new wing configuration on the midsection of the car. Neat!

lol I love it how people always try to bring audi into things when I have seemingly managed to offend someone. Even a toyota boss wanted to pull the plug on them so my comments are justified in a sensible business way of thinking. Its not liek toyota have any sports cars on sale anyway.

Because you have a heavy anti-Toyota sentiment in a lot of your posts. It's not offensive, but it is wearisome. You are an unabashed Audi fan, so I again present the question to you: Where's their F1 team?

F1 doesnt raise a manufacturers profile like it used to. The chances of success compared to the ratio of costs, failure, and and positive market exposure makes it not worth the risk. Audi is on course to be number 1 premium manufacturer by 2015 and they dont need F1 to help boost their profile, as only lifting the championship trophy will do that which is a very hard task, and cannot be guaranteed regardless of how much money you plow into the project.

I used to like toyotas, but they are just bland now. Boringggggggg, just like their F1 car.

That Ferrari looks cool, but I'm liking the look of the Renault. It just looks a little more slippery than the Ferrari.
