The all new McLaren only managed one(!) lap at Valencia before the new engine had had enough!
Renault also had some engine trouble, but at least they got 33 laps out of it before it called it today.

Edit: Looking at it a little closer, I think it's a microphone. Hard to be sure . . .

I think it's a camera looking at the rear wing, maybe checking the amount of movement.

The McLAREN MERCEDES MP4-22 gives me un pure thoughts, its so damn sexy! The vodafone sponsors keeps making me double check to make sure its not a ferrari with a fancy paint.

Mmhmm, camera watching the rear wing is what I thought too. I guess it's something to do with the flexy-wings argument that happened last season. I don't remember it being an issue with rear wings though. :odd:

Ferrari's problem was definitely the rear, they had to add a center support brace.

Anyone else having the suspense is killing me syndrome.....??? I really want to see the next bunch of 2007 models, but its taking too long. lol

My impressions:
Toyota: Bleh. Same old paint job from '02
BMW: Looks the same as last year. Still looks good though.
Ferrari: Best of the lot IMO. 👍
McLaren: Still looks great with chrome. But all those funny-looking Vodafone logos kinda spoils it.
Renault: Like that shade of blue. But I don't think I've seen a car with so many appendages sticking out.

the ferrari......THATS WHAT I'M DIGGING 👍
it just seems more "back to home" with the red. and like what everyone else is saying, the front wing looks brilliant.

These are supposedly leaked photos of the new Williams.

Nothing confirmed though, lots of people labelling it as BS.

I doubt it is fake. grandprix.com makes a reference to it, and when Williams asks them to make a correction there is no mention that it is a fake photograph.

My problem with it is that in 1 photo you can see little ears towards the front of the chassis, and in the other photo you can’t see them.

(And the camera on both pictures is a dirrent colour. And both are the wrong shape, but whatever.)

The Spyker F1 car is looking nice (check my avatar) running the Ferrari V8. Excellent way of getting themselves better known, and getting in while the rules are changing is great tactics. Can't wait to see higher-res images though.

That Williams is basically the old car with some new parts and their 2007 livery. It looks nice, i have to admit.

I've always thought it was fake and will continue to do so untill proved otherwise. :p

It may just be my eyes playing tricks, but the stepped bottom appears to have a slightly different profile immediately behind the barge boards in both pictures as well. Which makes me wonder if they aren't just track testing two different aero packages (though, I don't know how common it is to do that at this time of year)

Bare in mind that Williams signed AT&T as their main sponsor didn't they? So I doubt that lenovo will feature so strongly in the final 07 livery.

Blake's right in that I'm pretty sure Williams are running an interim car at the moment.

This was posted on the Williams F1 website on January 17th,

Following a successful partnership year in 2006, notably in Germany, Spain, Turkey and Asia, Randstad will increase its sponsorship of the team and become an on-car sponsor. Starting from 2007, the Randstad logo will be clearly visible on the nose of the new FW29 racecar.

I don't know when the deal was officially signed, but I don't think the pictures can be that old.
Williams' site still says nothing about Lenovo though, and they do not appear in their list of partners. But Budweiser (who's sponsorship was supposed to have ended) is still on their list of partners. So it's probably not the most reliable source to go by...
