CD images

well i know there's someone here who knows of the program alcohol where you can take CD images into alcohol and it works just like you had the CD in your drive. but i was wondering if someone would be able to tell me how you actually get a CD image off of a CD.

You need a special CD ripper program. NoNags.com has a few free ones.

Alcohol 120% can make CD images as well as mount them on a virtual CD drive (it tricks Windows into thinking you have another CD drive and that the CD image is an actual psychical disc).

Alcohol 120% rocks... It'll emulate most known copy protection schemes.. No need to let that expensive FarCry DVD leave it's case !... Just mount the image and you're good to go 👍
