Cell Phone Compatibility...

Is this site Cell-phone compatible? because my suggestion is that is should be. I don't have a cell-phone with internet, but I'm sure there are some here who do. Just a thought...

No, it is not built with WAP cell phones in mind, but I don't know what currently happens when the site is viewed in a WAP browser.

You would get a "host not found" message if there's no WML code in the gtplanet.net domain.

Personally I think that WAP is rubbish. It takes far too long to download, and the services are all flaky as hell (not that wap.gtplanet.net would be flaky Jordan!!! :blush: ). You can browse the site using a PDA connected to a phone, however, and this was recently the topic of discussion in the thread "Pocket Internet Explorer".

I've used the "E-mail this page" function and e-mailed it to someones cell phone before. It showed up only as a link to the thread on his phone which he couldnt' access through the phone. But it got to him. I actually couldn't beleive the speed in which it reached his phone! It had gotten to his phone before I had even gotten my finger off the mouse button!
