I didn't want to appear too fussy or critical, but yes, you did give our beloved Einstein a bit of a new slant that time.:sly: It looks like you were in a hurry ; I'm sure you would have loved to play around with many compositional ideas standing in front of that mural.:)

It's more often a lack of patience with the iphone, seeing the screen in the sun can be a pain.

Including the cupola?:scared:

Unfortunately not. :(

Gave a few the instagram b&w treatment.

Some great shots here. I always find myself impressed by what the camera on my iPhone can offer, if used in the right way.

All of these via instagram. The flower and Jaguar shots were taken with an accessory lens - which does macro, wide-angle and fisheye, depending on which way you turn it. Was chuffed with the ice hockey shot too - the camera has nice clarity with stuff like that.

Thanks 👍 Can't remember whether that was done with the iPhone 4's regular camera app or one of the other half-dozen I've downloaded  Either way, final editing was done with instagram.

I took this today and quite like how it came out. (I use an iPod touch) This is unedited.

And some older ones, all edited with the 'CameraPro' app.

A pigeon.

So these are all cell phone pics in here? We should start putting what phone you have too so others can see the quality. Every shot so far looks pretty damn good.

These are my Seattle apocalypse photos :P that I took on the 21st (unedited samsung stratosphere, already posted one on the december 21st thread)

This was all heading into Boeing Field from the north
(The lines are the prop spinning, not the phone)

The lines going vertical were due to an app. :grumpy: Phone I got is an LG Optimus V. If I don't use an app, the quality of the pic would have been better than these.

I see this a few time at the gym:

I took this picture yesterday with my Xperia J. - I'll admit, it's not a good picture.

Don't shoot me for liking it. It's beautiful. A poster/painterly-like quality to it. If it's untouched and unedited - photons captured as they are - it then is also unique. Contrasting colour, hypnotic composition, with even some laws deftly broken . . . nice.

Great shot - reminds me of SimCreator.

I keep waiting for Mr. Bean to fall from the sky.

I like this shot - apart from the noise along the flank of the car.

It was the beam of light; I expected Rowan Atkinson to fall out of the sky any moment. :)

I can see the 'Tokyo Drift' Atmosphere, now. That was a great game. Not played it for some time, tough. Mad physics.

Just took this, on my way to work.

Lovely 👍 Definitely has a vintage feel, that one.

A few recents from me:

All iPhone 4, as usual. Edited with various apps, but all hosted through instagram. The moon shot was achieved by holding the camera up to the eyepiece on my telescope.

Really loving the last shot of the VW, looks vintage aside from the Prius...es.

And did you take that moon shot through a telescope or something? The edges of the moon look way too clean to be taken with the iPhones built in digital zoom. Either way its a nice shot.

EDIT: :dunce: Missed the bit at the end of your post. Sorry, using GTP in my phone's browser.

Just snapped a few while at work:

Wow... over two months before I saw that? Geez.
I'm amazed that you like it! That, is actually the view I've got in the morning, in the living room... To the west there's some woods. You could call this an ideal place to live, if you're a photographer.

Edit: Yes, it's unedited. I also forgot to remove the small blue camera-protector, thus the blueish image.

Some shots in here are really nice! Almost too good to be a random phone shot.. :D

I did a try with panorama: (iPhone 5)

Here's an example of it working.....:

Great shots in here by everyone in including yours. Somehow or other I seem to have deja vu when I look at Weigert's shots. I've been there before. I think. The VW by hfs is totally awesome, and Minty's shots are always interesting - slices of life we don't usually notice.

👍.

While browsing through my pictures, I found this; I took it, just after I moved (this is the west view of my current place, at night, in August), with my old phone:

These were already in my thread but they have a home here too.
