I always have a hard time coming up with a cool character and name for RPG's. Normally, I can come up with a cool character with a dodgy name or vice versa.

I learned to regret the name I gave my character in Oblivion. My New Vegas character is called R J MacReady after Kurt Russell's character in "The Thing". I tried to make him look as much like Kurt Russell as possible, but failed miserably. A few hours into the game, I met my first companion, Boone. And realized that my character essentially was a carbon copy of him. Both in terms of looks and the way we both have a preference to use rifles from a distance. Combined with robo canine rex, we are a lethal team. Rexie runs in, Boone and I shoot the living **** out of the target from a distance.

One thing that made me laugh is the fact that Boone's first name is Craig, which is my first name. I only found this out after having Boone as a companion for around 50 hours.

Oblivion? sounds like Fallout: New Vegas, actually, cuz Rex and Boone are also in that game, and Boone is an ex-NCR Ranger.

I've got 2 characters who're Transformers. one's a Decepticon traitor (like Jetfire from Revenge of the Fallen) and is a Piaggio FLY 150. his name is Dart. the scooter he transforms into is black with yellow stripes, and when in scooter-form, his wheels are from the Piaggio MP3 300. he also has a chrome Ferrari "Prancing Horse" badge on his front fender, facing up and out. despite his small size, he's equipped with shoulder-mounted rocket-launchers and what appears to be a Beam Rifle from Halo 3.

the other is a new recruit to the Autobots. He's a 2012 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe. despite the fact he's a luxury car on the outside, on the inside, he's more bloodthirsty than the late Ironhide. and yet, despite this bloodthirtiness, he's stealthier than any other. aptly going my the moniker, Ninja, he's one of the meanest, quickest, and most cunning Transformers the world has ever seen. thank god he's a good guy.

Reading my post back, I was talking about Oblivion, but then quickly skipped to New Vegas.
