Chassis Maintenance Effect Drag Racing?

I did a search and didn't find anything asking if this had a impact on performance in drag racing? I know in real life that would have a impact but didn't know if that carries over into GT5.

If it did, it would be so minor you probably wouldn't notice it...

I don't think so because chassis is cornering and drag racing is just a straight line maybe it will effect your run if it is really bad and you keep spinning out.

yeah thats what got me thinking though if your chassis is weaker of a hard launch then its gonna twist more causing wheelspin.

I don't think your chassis can twist in GT5, for this game that might be a bit extreme. There is wear for sure though.
