Chat room

I'm truly sorry if this has been posted before but whenever I open up the chat room I don't see anything except the GT clock. Does anyone know what causes this? Perhaps I need to update anything?

Well I guess this game doesn't live too good with the xmb open. Been forced to restart my console twice after xmb froze when sending a message. Something I'll never do again during 20min+ race... Gotta wait for another patch. Hope PD knows about this issue.
