Chromeline paint chips missing?

Is there a reason I don't have paint chips for my chromeline/stealth cars? I have the cars from the Collectors Edition and was going to use the paint on something else. You don't get chips with these?

There are very few, if any, cars with stripes or graphics that you get paint for. And I'm pretty sure if the little paint color square has a little triangle of a different color in the corner you don't get a paint chip. Also nothing for cars with colors that have no name like the kart or the Formula GT.

Exactly, and if you could paint any vehicle in the game with these special paint chips if they existed then what would be the point of stealth or chromeline cars in the first place.

I see... I figured with all these chromes and mattes out there it just meant everything had a chip with it. I realize the chromes and mattes are also awarded elsewhere in the game I just figured any car gave you the paint with it. Come to think of it, why couldn't I get the chips with them. They should have just locked them from being giftable so only I could use it. Much like Forza locks their Unicorn cars.

This whole paint thing is annoying. Off to find some matte purple and Midnight Purples...

BTW, since I have just started playing I don't know the answer yet. Is a paint chip single or multiple use? Seems single use from what I've read...

Single use.. It seems in GT world now even though you are a multi millionaire you cant afford to paint your cars whatever you want and have to rely on these charity paint cans.

I wish race cars had them, and if you paint a road car with that chip the road car gets a replica of that racing livery :B

AFAIK the Impreza Rally Cars have paint chips.
