RRoDzaaah!
Lately, I have been growing tired of listening to the trash that is being put out by the record companies on radio. Not only do I know that Kanye West thinks he is Jesus but, I also know popular slang for women's body parts and how to spell "banana" correctly. So, needless to say, I'm tired of the music. Since my clock radio is on its last legs anyway, I figured to look for alternatives to the normal clock radio. I am looking for a wireless solution that can play music formats from my computer. Other details like a clock readout or alarm are not necessary, but would be a nice touch.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is there even a product like what I am describing?

I belive Giles got one of these on his birthday. I didn't know what it was, so I had to ask what it was. :D Very sweet looking machine.....

If you have your computer on 24/7 you can configure it to work as your clock radio.

I use my JVC Micro hifi, which has a clock radio/cd/tape alarm. There's a been like 5 newer versions since i bought it, and the newer versions all have mp3 cd playback. You won't get your entire music collection on it, unless ou have less than 700mbs worth of music.

Here's one of them, which has DAB radio too (i think that's british only). There's a version that plays dvds too.

My mum just bought one of these:

Really cruddy sound.

EDIT

Oh, and the sound on my JVC atleast is awesome quality, really is. I've had it for like 3 years now. Ordinarily, i would have replaced it by now, but i just don't want to, frankly

Another way is to get a decent set of speakers, and use the alarm feature on an iPod. I've done that before too.
