Sorry Skate I had no right to tell you that. Sorry for saying your video was rubbish Josh. More importantly sorry Brett for being a "burke" and making you look bad on the forum infront of newcomers. I guess my competitiveness got the better of me and I started getting mad. I guess I did use some ideas from the Le Mans. Sorry guys, won't happen again. :/

Etid- Thank you. Lets get on with the racing now 👍

Ellis-Sounds good 👍
maybe as a side mission you could collect turnips or something.

Anyway, Ihave a good tune for the Jag now so hopefully it will earn me a few positions in the pre seasonal.

Have any pre season estimation from the c.e.o of the classic racing car series bretty eccleston?

Do you mean a prediction?

Yeh that one.

"the alpha snuck up on the bus with the yobo in the burburry cap playing Bad music sat on the back, olgaski (your lady friend, i.e. the name) took aim. with one burst the chav was obliterated. Mission completed"

Lol! 👍

Hmm, its very hard to predict as I havent seen much of smithaz or Mustard. Sandman and Pagey have missed a couple of practice races too. Pipi should be good too as he is in 2 other series.
I will list the favourites but it could change when the season get under way.
Not in order.
Sakery
Ellis
sandman
Tom
Joe
Spurgey

I concur, I would say the same people

Nice to see 3 Team Jaguar members in your expected top 6, obviously no favouritism towards your teammates. :sly:

EDIT: Which Jag tune did you end up using, same one as me?

naaah not at all ;) Just a quality team you see.

Joe- I havent used any yet mate but intend to try them all. Truth is I havent got a clue about how people will do but when ellis wants answers, you better talk

Tune list PM'd, sandman.

I think 1.45 was the best mate, how you getting on?

I think 1.45 was the best mate, how you getting on?

Yeah, best was either a 1:45.5xx or a 1:45.4xx, though we could probably go faster with more time practicing and setup adjusting.

My Ferrari can do a 1:46.5 as of now and heading in the right direction. With full DF and no ballast we have to cut engine 86.6% to get down to 600pp and end up with 406hp.So many options to get to the 600pp and im testing flat out to get the best.Ill let our tifosi know what i come up with..arrivaderla

Nice italian PB :D
Maybe try and decrease the downforce for more ppooowwwweerrrrrrrr!
1.46 is a good time though mate.

Don´t reduce Downforce for more Power, just add some Ballast. It won´t have that much of an impact.
But less DF => trickier Handling through fast Turns.
(At least that is what I do :D)
1:45.559 was my best, and I don´t see that much improvement maybe a tenth or two.

@Tom: I pm you the Gear ratios the rest will follow tonight :D

€dit: Nice to read my name on the List :D

So if the races are about 100 miles we should be looking at one stop?

Depends on the track i think. I dont think I will be able to do less than a one stop in these on GVS because of how much oversteer you get on this track. But I mean everyone drives differently. I tend to hit the gas too early which leads me to think i may struggle to get podium on this race. Where as on some other tracks my driving style suits me more. Also, I love pit strategies. I love that sort of thing. Bit of a nerd really :D Bret does the two compound rule apply in these races?

No it does not, unless people want it to. Whatever makes it more interesting I guess :)

See what people say. I like that rule in the FGTC i think it makes the strategy a lot more interesting. And also it means the driver has to drive differently depending on the tyres that they are on. So like say I am ahead by 10 seconds when me and 2nd place go into the pit lane. We fuel the same but 2nd puts softs on and i have to put mediums on because i have to fuffil the mandatory 2 compounds. It means that 2nd can catch up and give me more of an interesting race. And again this can apply through all the different positions making pitting more strategical compared to the mondain: Go into pits, X amount of fuel, Racing softs, done.

That is my pro two tyre compound argument
