Joe, thats some really fast times youve got there, sakery and tom are the fastest Ive seen so far at low 1.45s and they're usually quite far out infront. What fuel load was that on? I can get into the 1.45s with 3/4s of a tank and 1.46s from full.

I was close to a full tank of fuel. I was going to work out something with pitstop time, but ended up being up on my best lap a couple of times before I reached the final sector and the pits, so I kept finishing the laps and telling myself that the next lap would be when I check the pitstops. I probably wouldn't want to go that fast in the race though, as I'd wear my tyres out too quickly from how hard I have to push/how I drive the car to get times below a 1:45.

On my laps I wasn't quite putting 4 tyres onto the wide curb at turn 4 (was more like 3), and wasn't putting 4 tyres on the concrete run off of the 2nd to last corner either, so there is more time available.

EDIT: Regarding speed limits, if you fly into the pits at Sarthe the autodrive can't slow you down for the chicane in the pits, and will cut across it. You don't get any penalty for doing so. Would this count as corner cutting if we did this?

I found the time just by running laps to get used to the track and knowing what I could get away with.

Corner cutting under autodrive will not be penalised by stewards but the game can lose control of your car and cost you a load of time so i wouldnt go in too fast.If you havent voted yet, git er done!

Another question: do we have to obey the pit entrance lines, or only the ones at the pit exit?

If there is traffic nearby and you fail to use the lines you may be penalised, just use common sense.

The new setup Sakery gave me is brilliant, this car literally feels like it's on rails. The only way I could possibly lose control at GVS is putting too much power on coming out of the tight hairpin, anywhere else would be pretty much impossible.

Oh and could you inform us prior to the race what tyre rule etc. We're using mate? I reckon with a decent run i'm looking at top 5.

There's a few places where the rear end wants to come round with the Jag, with it getting worse as the tyres wear, as the car first picks up understeer and then oversteer joins it a couple of laps after.

I cant wait to race these,wish tyres were more in line with '67.im going to find out real lap times and see what tyre type is the same as in '67.remember less grippy tyres makes for longer braking distances,more chances to overtake that fat,slow heavy car thats in front of you...lol

2nd lap testing the last tune i posted,35kgs@-35.tyres wouldnt last long at all...
they could have passenger ride days with that white car in the photo,sit on the wing,feet on motor cover,wouldnt that be priceless

Me too i totally want to use tires that match. The tires they would use were like our sport mediums, still had tread and lasted about half the season

@Bert- the big wing car is a chaparral 2f. An absolute monster! i want every single chap in the game!
Especially the 2k(they're formula 1 or indy car)
