What impressed me: The worn-out interiors.

This isn't a coincidence, like "that's how the cars they scanned looked." Apparently, it's a deliberate technique they used to enhance the realism of the cars in the game.

This is a common practice in other game genres like FPS, and has even been done in some driving games like Snowrunner. However, no open-world racing game had yet employed this kind of intentional wear and tear. And I'd say their attempt was successful. All the cars look more realistic, and you can feel the bond that the player and the car have built within the game.

Seems closer to a NFS than a Horizon from what we've seen.

It definitely looks interesting, been a while since we've had a racing game with a proper story. Though I think the studio's game claims about being truly innovative and different in the racing game space seem a bit exaggerated, at least from what they've shown so far.

Every attempt at making a racing game with an interesting story has been somewhere between mediocre and laughable. I'm not saying they can't do it, but I'm not holding my breath.
Well its not true.

Titles like Need For Speed Underground 2and Most Wanted has legendary status. Even if you don’t like them they are cult classics now.

I’m all for new racing games but after rennsport and pmr make me wonder if anything will ever challenge GT,

Also open world, not for me, come on ex forza devs, something along the lines of forza motorsport would be good

Good luck with it in any case

Game looks promising, im cautious optimistic
it seems of a hot take. but i dont like the idea of the "used car experience" i am more fond of the idea of playing the car like if was out of factory even if it has 60+ years since then, the rest looks ok

now with all that said... what i am more intrested of it is seeing how many people that spent the last 5/6 years or so trashing Mike Brown will turn back and hail him as the savior or racing game genere or how many will try to trash actual PG beacuse "how you guys couldnt do it as the studio next door is doing?" and spending 5/6 years calling them "saviours of Forza Horizon"

Negotiating with new publishers after the split with Amazon. They joked about being an indie dev and entering for awards like that, but they'll likely have a proper deal in place before the game is due for release.
But who would/could pick them?

They're probably hoping this will get them noticed by a smaller indie publisher--if they've still got a spot lined up for SGF, maybe they secured one behind the scenes and are going to reveal that partner on Friday.

I watched the trailer and Black Panthaa's video. So far it seems good to me. I like they are trying to blend the circuit racing with the street racing with a little bit of Fast & Furious thrown in. The car models look great and I love the customization options. You can change the seats add the neon underglow, change steering wheels, etc.. They showed some the body customizations as well. The story part seems promising so I will be watching to see how this goes but so far I am a little bit excited for Clutch. That may change over time so we will see

This game's livery editor appears to allow the use of not only fantasy brand logos but also logos of real-world aftermarket brands.

While there are no scenes where the stickers are clearly visible, and most scenes are blurry, these are speculations, but it seems that logos from K&N, Corbeau (old logo), and Forge Motorsport can be seen.

While several aftermarket rims were shown in the trailer, the variety of aftermarket brands featured wasn't as extensive as the variety of rims themselves.

Many of the rims, as shown in the image above, are made by ROTA, a notorious brand known for its shoddy copies of iconic rims from other companies.

However, in other words, this also means that they can add iconic rims from various brands to the game for the cost of licensing from just one company.

This is a technique that Turn 10 and Playground Games have also used, but it could be an effective way for emerging, smaller studios like Maverick Games to save on licensing costs.

I think many people have probably already noticed this, but it appears they're collaborating with Red Bull.
It's unclear whether this is just product placement or if Red Bull will be more deeply integrated into the game.
Personally, I liked how collaborations with brands like G-Shock sponsoring the racing events in FH1 were used to add realism to the game's world, so I'd like to see something like that again.

Twingo!!!!!!!!!

Please no more festival theme just that
While we can't be completely at ease until the official trailer is released, it's likely that our worries will be unfounded.

The game's story, as they have revealed so far, seems to be about a brother and sister who were participating in a legitimate professional racing league but get into trouble, and in the process become involved in underground street racing and crime, and are exposed to the dark side of professional racing.

So... Mr. Royalton is going to pop out and monologue about how it's all fixed?

I read this quote from Mike Brown the lead on the game from the IGN article - “Just to give a sense of the ambition of where we’re going with this – I’m obviously very well-invested in car culture and automotive entertainment, and really aware that historically there’s always been these huge tentpole franchises that have propped up and pushed car culture forward,” says Brown. “There was that spell where Need for Speed – from Need for Speed Underground, Underground 2, and Most Wanted – was the number one best-selling game in the world, like, three years running. There was that period where Top Gear was the most-watched TV show and, in film, even though it’s not the biggest film franchise in the world, the Fast & Furious series is one of them. It’s made more money than Harry Potter; it’s made more money than Batman. And that is the level of ambition for Clutch, to set the tone for car culture across the next decade, and be that tentpole IP that drives culture forward.”
That is quite ambitious we have see if they can pull it off

Has anyone noticed any wide body kits yet? I scrubbed through all the customization footage, but I haven't been able to spot any so far.

I'm interested.
Especially the customizzation of the cars and interiors...
Semms also the Multipla and the MK1 Twingo are in the game, hoping playable.

I wonder why they put multipla logo from time to time. I am pretty sure it will be playable
Betting it's going to be the game's cover car, some kind of custom-built Multipla to show the game's theme of 'connection between car and driver'.
