Yes we have weather confirmed for GT5. Falling rain, snow, and lingering fog too!! The weather system in F1 2010 looks really nice! It will be keeping me busy until November 2nd!
It's turning up to be a great game, I agree. But they would be stupid to release it anywhere near GT5's launch. GT is such a giant, it will seriously lower sales of Codemasters game.

It wont take the shine off GT5, it will get overshadowed by GT5.
Many people that are interested in both games don't have the money to buy them both, they will have to make a decision. It's great for people who are getting both games, or for 360 owners that don't have to make this decision, but i'm pretty sure that most PS3 owners are more eager to get their hands on GT5.
I gave an example with Starcraft 2. This implies to every genre, it's better not to release a FPS around the launch of a new COD Modern Warfare game. I think it's quite obvious why.
Because we're so tired about FM3 vs GT crap that nobody gives a damn anymore, except few members who are trolling for the sake of their constructive criticism.
I agree, especially since alot of people will be saving to get at least the Collectors Edition of GT5, it's going to hurt Codemasters sales for a while, and if GT5 has more than a couple of F1 cars then I feel it may be curtains for F1 2010, I for one won't be losing any sleep over that, I've been burnt by Codemasters "hype machine" and plain lies once too often.....
F1 fans will buy this game irrespective of GT or not.

GT5 will sell 10million+ copies F1 i'd imagine would struggle to surpass a million. Same with Forza in terms of sales it bombed pretty hard but the trolls desperately try to make it out as if Forza is a legitimate challenger to Gran Turismo.

Actually I'm glad there's developers wiiling to take a risk and bring out non popular titles to consoles.
Bird's of prey and R.U.S.E. being such examples.

I agree that TDU was pretty boring after a while as it didn't feel right but TDU2 is suppose to be much better like with police and stuff. I really hated that cars of simmilar performance shared the same gearing. That was my biggest piss off.

Other that sharing the driving genere both games are totally different and while I appreciated TDU for what it was and hope TDU2 will be that much better I plain love the GT series.
If you want an open world driving game TDU2 is still your best bet though.
I hope TDU2 does wheel interface correctly and completley.
