Dose an one know how to do colored text on a apple ipod

iPod? Or iPad? If it's the iPad, use the colored text tool looking right at you in the Quick Reply box. If it's the iPod, you may just have to type in:

[color="whatevercoloryouwant"][/color]

...tags around your text manually.

You need a / in the second bracket. like this

Type it as:

[color="red"]test[/color]

That's because you're twice telling it you want red text, but not telling it you want to stop. It doesn't know when the formatting ends so it doesn't apply it.

[color=papaya] says "I want my font in a lovely orange colour".
[/color] says "Whatever colour I wanted, stop it now, 'kay?".

Both are needed.

Um, on advanced mode you can use the drop-down for the colour I thought.

You literally just need to type [color=red] then your text then [/color] after it to get that portion of the text in red.

Post what you're doing when it doesn't work and we can see what the issue is.

Try it like this:

[color=red]

Every tag "[tag]" requires a closing tag "[/tag]" (notice the "/" mark) so your computer will know when to start and stop formatting. The same goes for links, for indents, for bullet points, and quotes. Otherwise, it will either never start nor stop formatting your text, and the following command by the forum software (after this post, go add the signature, then add the quote button, then add the Quick Reply text box, et cetera) will just "move on", and take on the next command.

Note: Don't quote this, it will make even less sense. Just copy what you see in the indented area.

If you don't use the closing tag, the opening tag is ignored.

[color=red] BEFORE your text AND [/color] AFTER it.

How many colors are there because there seem to be alot more the that little dropdown
box shows like the one you (Famine) use and showed above "papaya" .

Every colour using the RGB system is available: instead of giving a colour name, simply type # followed by the six-character alphanumeric hex code 👍

Is there any chance of setting a "Default" font/colour?

It's pretty difficult to edit the font types, colours, and such from the mobile site (yes, I visit the actual site on my mobile, I don't want the app...) So, I'm curious if it's possible to set a default, so that it automatically gives me all of the appropriate tags.


Long list of tags I'd need:

• Garamond font
• Midnight Blue colour
• Bold
• Italics

It's possible to insert these tags, but also slightly frustrating.


In other news, I've decided to use this font, to become more stylized.

I like it. It matches my helmet. And, to be frank, Azuremen complains about fonts a lot, it's nothing new.

At least it's not Indigo, confusing everyone who assumes Famine's arrived on the scene.
