Community - change club owner

Hello, is it possible to change a club owner?
I am part of a club an the owner has been away for long so we are talking for him to change the owner, but we don't know how to do it, can anyone help?
Is it even possible?

I would like to know aswell, because i have an 80 member club and i have now stopped playing GT as much, and i also didn't like how much the club relies on the owner, and i want to change the owner to someone a little more reliable than myself.

Here's a work around; get whoever wants to be the new owner to set up a similar club, then post the club ID number in the news section of your club (written as words not numbers, or the game censors them, DOH) & ask everyone to move over. You can also send all members them the same message via the GT website.

Thanks for the work around but that's not exactly what we are looking for because we would loose all club history and some less active members would loose track of the right club, etc.

It's strange how one might think that a community may belong to one person...
