I couldn't find any info on req system spec. It uses Open GL so I guess if you have a good graphics card and reasonable processor it should be ok.

Just from browsing the forums it looks quite buggy but I'll try and get it working on my other partition tonight.

From what it looks like, yes, its a Linux only thing at the moment.

Regardless, things like this that look super pretty are typically after smashing yer forehead into the keyboard for hours before its that pretty. Right now, I do not really have a computer that would reasonable handle this, or else I would test it out. I could see if the Linux guys I know have fiddled with it much and hear their thoughts on it.

My Litestep is jealous, but the virtual desktop bit is lost when you have two monitors (or its buggy to hell and back), and I like having drivers

I never did like making the wiggling (forgot the name Beryl uses) effect. Only thing I had turned off. Have they got this one working on Feisty Fawn (Ubuntu 7.04)?

You just need something that supports Opengl.

Integrated graphics cards work fine.

OK,

I got this installed on my Linux partition last night. Tried to get things running but there were so many glitches I gave up. I read though the forums this morning and I may be able to get it working tonight. Problem is, I'm impatient and not very good with Linux.

No promises.

Integrated graphics cards work fine.

Beryl was somewhat resource intensive though and some people had lots of choppiness and such without half-decent video cards.
