TB
And doubly so if they have ailments.

I realise this is preaching to the choir, but it doesn't lessen the joy.

Hope the TB squad are well.

Yea, my middle daughter who is 4 now had open heart surgery at 10 months...wasn't cheap.
See? You know what I'm talking about. And sorry to hear about your daughter.

And yes, Danny, the TB clan is all good for now, short of a cold this week and strep 2 weeks ago. Always something, huh?

After they patched up the 3 holes in her heart she was a different kid! Super active and started growing like crazy, so in my case all turned out well. Worst part about kids isn't the cost, its when something happens to them which is out of your hands. 3 weeks at a childrens hospital and an empty bottle of xanex later, she's good.

My girlfriend thinks I'm a nerd because I have a "back-up mouse", attached at all times incase my wireless one runs out of power.

Doesn't your mouse have a low battery light? At that point, you normally change batteries. Then again, you're Casio.

I LIVE ON THE ****ING EDGE BABY!!!

And unfortunately my hands aren't transparent, so I can't see the light if it starts flashing. One day they will be, and my need for a back-up mouse will be resolved, but unfortunately, that day is not today.

Sometimes Stig, you mess up & the batteries aren't always fully charged when you swap 'em out. 1 thing that sucks about wireless. :ouch:

I use four fingers on my mouse at all times, so...
Wait, you take your hands off the mouse to type, why don't you look then? My mouse works impeccably, except when there's another Logitech mouse around. And, it's the cheapest one too!

Having past experience with the cheapest Logitech cordless mouse, I can tell you it's absolutely rubbish. I replaced mine with some generic Dell mouse which I found lying around, works much better. However the keyboard it came with is, pretty good I must say.

I just don't get the need for a back-up mouse, surely it would make more sense to have some back-up batteries.:sly:

Am I being mean here?

A guy who was part of our circle of friends last year said some really nasty stuff about me to some other people, assuming it wouldn't get back to me. This was around April-time, I haven't spoken to him properly since. But I digress, he's always trying to woo my friends, as he seems to fancy them all. But none of them are going to give him the time of day while I still hate him.

Anyway, he asked me yesterday to give him another chance, quite blatently so my friends will give him a proper shot. I told him to go fornicate himself and now he's apparently 'depressed'. I don't actually think he has many friends outside of our group, so I'm wondering if I'm being a bit harsh. He's still a grade-A tit, though.

If you don't like him, there's a reason. Trust your gut, Danny. It's the only one ya got.

To be honest, theres a few of people I dislike but put a brace on to keep civil and not upset others.

And then there are those I am vocal about disliking and wont even try to be nice to them.

Its your life Danny, live it how you feel.

I really don't have too much friends or that I just don't go out and hang out with them. My thought that people just use you in someway or another but who knows. In this world, its who you know not what you know. Its those thoughts that keep sticking in my head.

Nothing wrong with that. I have three people that I actually call friends. One I have known for 23 years and the other two are over 35, I just can't stand young people because they act like idiots. I choose friends wisely and keep them close, if I can't say for sure that I could call them 300 miles away at 2 a.m. and have them come pick me up then they really don't care enough about me to be my friend, true friend. My three and I have done way more for one another over the years, thats how it should be, family extensions and not just hang out buddies, those aren't real friends.

Nope, not harsh at all. His self-esteem/mental problems are not yours to solve, or even facilitate. Maybe he'll learn not to be a jackass. Or maybe not.

Ha, not at all! Its not your place to help out someone or ease them in any way after they did something like that. Obviously he isn't your mate or he wouldn't have done that in the first place, treason is punishable by death:sly:
