Well now I'm alone if I show up tonight for ST... :indiff: (Damn you bug)
 
Could everyone make 8 or 9 o'clock?
 
Maybe thats like 2am-3am here... I have done testing of the STs at Daytona Road and err the Fwds are fine. The Civic is allways slow here due to it's lack of top end speed.

VW (2:03.235, top speed 147mph)
Mini (2:03.456, top speed 146mph)
Civic (2:04.376, top speed 142mph)

But the Ruf is way too fast, over 3 seconds faster than the VW and destroys them on the straights too......

Ruf (2:00.082, top speed 154mph :scared:)

RUF is a typo... Should be 255hp, not 275... Not sure how I messed that up...

But room open soon
 
Still it's going to be around 1.5-2secs faster than the other STs on that bhp I rekon... :indiff:
 
Registered for St with the 3400. But if it needs to be removed or tweaked I can change.

We are tuning the cars?. Just no aero unless specified.

I'll check out the 3400s, seems I just screwed it up.
 
What about adding an mx-5 or focus? I don't think there are any mazdas speed 3s in ucd

Ok and Yes if that is good next season I will have my team running in the ST class.
 
On 255bhp it did a 2:01.2xx and 150mph still 2 secs faster :sick:. Trying 235bhp but it may need taken out otherwise.... As it's no fun when someone has a car thats 2 seconds faster than you it'll just turn into a 1 make race....

Go for it! And we may be changing times to make it easier for Europeans.
 
Polar my suggestion having just tested it is the Ruf 3400s specs at 235bhp and 1340kgs gave a best lap of 2:03.1xx so it's only .1 faster than the Golf but should probs be better on tyre wear in the race.. Also to add the Rufs top speed is 146/147 which is also on par wih the Golf and Minis at those specs 👍.

We're in a lobby right now. You would be our only ST driver, as Damu's sick, but you could still join, perhaps.
 
Still whats imporant first is that the cars are atleast equal on pace :dopey:. To me that is the most important thing as once its equal on car performance it should attract more people to join in on ST ;).

Yeah. I had to take 178 kg out of the Aston to keep up with the rest of GS. However, it doesn't hurt to attend races, and build popularity.


I'm :irked: by this Aston Martin. It's faster by 10 km/h on the straights, but slower in the corners, by two seconds worth of time.

:( Okay, good luck. I'm not going to switch. It's just way slower in the corners. It's also, apparently, very slow on straights, considering I just lost to a 370Z, based purely on the 370Z's speed in draft on the oval section. :lol: this NASCAR stuff. I always lose.

Also, :lol: at the troll. "I'll just spectate, until the race timer ends, and get into the Camaro RM." Spun before crossing the start finish line. You don't MESS with Maziora Aston Martin Racing.
 
Random power outages.... I LOVE THEM! Thi was the best planned outage EVER! Absolutely no one is using power at 11 at night on a FRIDAY! Ya right....

After oil change not much Hp to work with. Wr1 takes off too much weight. Have to add ballast

Thanks for the help man. :) Much appreciated. I'll look into the toe in deal for more front corner grip. I tried that yesterday, and it definitely did change the whole character of the car.
 
We found out that car specs between the scooby, srt8, m3, and v12 vantage are basically even. Great racing tonight guys 👍

The Z was decent, just a little too loose under braking. Had to run rear brakes at 4/1. All the cars I tested wanted to come around in turn 1, but the Z was the most severe. The Subaru is a bit down on top end, but it accelerates good with the 4wd. Tire wear was a non-issue with racing hards. A good race and a good win tonight.
