I put up the actual weights of the cars, but the pdf contains more detailed information AND the ST class rules and regs.

Fresh not many series run perfect to real life specs due to Gt5s pp system etc being messed up so i'd rather have equal cars to unequal real life spec cars ;). Like what I had to do to the 3400s to get it even.. (Add more weight and take off power)

This is true.

For example, the Ferrari in Rolex at grand am specs would've been a seconds at least faster than any other car we used last season.

In addition to that. The Ferrari used irl is a 2012 model. I think either 09 or 10 year models are being used. Also the reason why the Camaro and the RX-8 are lighter irl than in the game is because the chassis for these cars are special built by Riley Technologies.
 
Your point would be good if you kept the power as is, but theres such a disparity between the weights of the cars, it's almost comical. I never said you HAVE to keep the cars as close to real life as possible. Why do people assume things like that? I just put the weights up there to give a basis on how they're matched irl. It's not like you can't run the cars at their real life weights and adjust the power accordingly.

Yea the RX-8 is over 60 kg heaver than irl in this game.

It is a fiasco trying to keep all the specs even in basically any series that isn't spec racing.

In game, I already think that the RX-8 is a great car, without the front downforce OR the 60 kg less. Wow, those RX-8 Grand-Ams must be great fun. "And your face comes off"-Jeremy Clarkson.

We're going to run Race Hards? I thought I saw it posted somewhere but can't seem to find it.

When will we know how many laps each race will be? Like to have a pit strategy setup before race day.

Are we doing a pre-season race this friday? At Daytona Road?

Status on requirements for the ST cars not listed? (Focus, MX-5, 330I)

How many GS/ST in each race? As of right now looking at original post, it looks like 8 GS Drivers

Mrmelancholy15- Aston Martin
NizmoDr3- Subaru
FreshSeth83- Nissan
Jikfin- Mazda
Mac k- Mazda
Tower Turn 13- Mazda?
harpinc1- BMW

and 3 ST Drivers

Paulmac2k9 -Think he decided on the 3400
Anirishnirvana - Volkswagen
Infinital-NG - Undecided, but probably the MX-5 depending on specs, otherwise probably the Civic.

So will we just run the race in that format, or will there be a request made for any drivers to change class?

Even if one ST doesn't show for race day that's two people racing. Fun, but not as much. Hopefully we get more people interested.

If we get closer to race day and the number of racers stay the same (8GS/3ST) I'd rather just move to GS and take the Camaro or the Ruf RGT.

I don't mind switching if there's an imbalance, though I will get my a-- kicked by paul (never raced with the other two).
 
Just cause I did well in the other Ruf don't mean I'll be as good in this Ruf :sly:.
 
If the ST class gets the Ford Focus my team will be going to the ST class.
 
I would drive a focus. I prefer the RX8 but I'm pretty open.

Hey I might even miss this week. My job will become my life starting Friday morning. I won't even be on SKYPE after Thursday evening until possibly Monday. I will be at work from 7 a.m. my time Friday until dark probably 8:30 p.m. that evening. I will run what races I can make then I will hit the sack. I have to be at work at 4 a.m. Saturday morning. I will work until about 9 p.m. my time Saturday only to do the exact same thing on Sunday. I will be having GT5 withdrawls before it is all over :yuck::crazy::grumpy::sick::nervous:
