Contribution to the Game Guide Wiki

Hi,

I signed up to the site to help populate the Wiki based game guide but it seems I need to be 'approved' for this before I can make changes.

How does one go about becoming approved?

All new members' posts are subject to approval in order to minimise the effects of spam and other unwanted content in the forums. Since your first post has now been approved, you should be able to post normally in the forums now...

That said, I'm not sure if there are additional requirements before you are able to contribute to the Wiki pages... there may well be, so stay tuned and hopefully someone with knowledge on such matters can comment.

Yes, you have to be a Guide Editor also. I think, currently, access to this is frozen, as is the Wiki itself - I'm not sure if there's any plan to continue with it, but Jordan would be the man to ask.

Yep, the Wiki project has been suspended for some time now.

Oh. That's a shame as it has potential to be quite a useful resource. I suppose there are other game Wiki's out there so perhaps having one on this site would dilute the collaborative efforts.

I made a thread just like this. Famine said that we need to get the "OK" from Jordan. I don't know how to, 'cause I don't know where he is.

By the way, I found Jordan and asked if the Guides would be up for editing. I don't know if he will say yes or no (most likely no).
