Cote de Azure low tunnel

The tunnel at Cote de Azure seems really low. I don't think a tractor trailer rig or even a tall truck (like a 4x4 with a lift kit) could even fit under there. Can they?

If you watch the Monaco grand prix at all that tunnel is barely big enough for 2 lanes of cars.

Well it's a city track so those roads are normally used for daily traffic. I guess if there are delivery trucks to the nearby hotels or casinos they must take an alternate route. Unless the tunnel is much taller than it appears in-game.

Theres some Dihatsu POS that looks a lot like that. It has 53 HP and I used it for the Lightweight K Cup. By far the worst car in the game IMO.

The tunnel under the Fairmont Hotel would probably be unable to handle these guys, but the tunnel is not quite as small as it looks.

Bit of topic but those pics are quite old. On the note of what trucks would be able to go through there, I'm not sure on the exact size but im sure if they couldn't fit then there would be other ways around haha.

From the view of the tunnel entrance on Google it looks as though the sign gives a 4m max height warning.

Monaco is clearly used to hosting construcion traffic et. al., there are numerous ways in and out of the prinicipality using main roads. I doubt that lorries would use the tunnel at all.

The narky stuck up police in Monaco wouldn't let you get close to the tunnel in anything like that (unless it's got Ferrari painted on the side), in fact they would attempt to arrest you if you unwittingly drove the wrong vehicle passed the casino! I can also attest to the lack of any sense of humour the Police have in Monaco when taking down your details before telling you to push your motorbike up the hill being careful not to get to close the Bentley's, Ferrari's and lambo's

Just checked... the maximum height of a US truck is 14 feet (4.2 metres).

The tunnel is marked with a 4m max height, I guess you'd get SOME through if not others...

I've walked the entire circuit including the tunnel and as the images prove, the height is plenty high enough for local traffic including coaches. I doubt lorries are permitted in that corner of town anyway, so it doesn't matter if they would fit or not.

Some people may not know that there is also an entrance to a conference centre halfway through the tunnel that I never knew existed. All the years of watching the F1 on tv I just thought it was a plain old tunnel, but no. It has hidden secrets! lol

It is, as far as I recall - maybe 4.7m, something in the middle of 4m at least. Looked at other things the last time I was there.
