Is anyone here actually getting X360 on 11/22? (US)

Hopefully I will. It'll be $497 here at Wal-Mart, and I get 10% off, so it'll be a little over $500 for the system itself. If I do get it opening day, I'll most likely only have Perfect Dark Zero until Christmas. Anyone know what the price of games will be?

Word of advice, people who make rash judgements on games machines like that look stupid. Play, THEN judge (and no, 3 seconds on pgr3 in Game, on a 12" tv doesn't count).

Frankly, I'm willing to bet that no matter how good the 360 is, there are people who would say things like "ZOMG IT SUX" simply for the fact that their beloved Sony didn't make it.

There's nothing wrong with waiting for the PS3 (I'll probs get both), that's what I'm doing, just drop the whole Sony ass kissing thing.

I really do hate people that hate the Xbox because "MS made it". It really does piss me off. A games console is a completely different thing. OK, I agree people can dislike it because it's too expensive or the games on that console don't appeal to them, but that really does annoy me.

It was more like 15" TV, but I couldn't play it, because some guy in his 50's were hogging the machine. From what I could tell, it looked OK.

By next Tuesday you USA people will be playing Xbox 360, while us UK people will be stuck. Playing games on either of these top consoles: PSP, PS2 and Xbox. Or just are PC.

The rumors, apparently, are true. According to retailers in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Miami and Houston, there will be mass shortage of Xbox 360 units on the targeted launch date of November 22. IGN contacted dozens of stores around the country, including Gamestop, EB Games, Electronics Boutique, Target and Walmart. One short-tempered clerk at a Gamestop in New York estimated that Xbox 360 units will not be available for walk-in customers until April. That's right, April.

This scares me. Imagine what Circuit City (my last hope) is going to be like .

Michigan 30degrees out and raining/snowing.... 15-30mph wind.....
I went to our local Best buy last night and there were kids and a couple adults standing in the 30 degree weather in a line that wrapped around the building waiting for the xbox360 that comes out today at 9:00am. I guess some of them had been there since 5:00. There were a couple tents too.

Some of those kids were very young. I am not sure if there is school this week but if there is and the kids are waiting on an xbox360 instead of going to school I say they have some terrible parents.

I tried it out yesterday at Best Buy for about 15 minutes. I was playing the new Call of Duty. They had it set up on a high def TV and it looked pretty good but I imagine they will only get better as they produce more games. I will eventually own the PS3 and the xbox360 but it wont be until they release a game for each one that I am interrested in. So far I am still waiting.

I ordered mine from Game, i hope i don't have a problem getting it. Over christmas i wan't to be racking up some kudos on PGR3.

Hell I just go and pick mine up today during lunch....and they funny thing I've already sold it to a guy in my office for 700 bucks because his kid wants it. So ya I just made 300 bucks.
