That's madness. Out of the group of us who were waiting at Wal-Mart all night, I think there were 3 people who were just buying it so they could sell it. They'll make a nice profit it seems. And out of all of us who were waiting, only one was buying a core.

I am going to see if there will be a shortage of the PS3 before I reserve any of em. This would be an excellent way to make some money to upgrade my computer! Spend $400, sell it for $1500. $1100 profit aint too shabby!!

I was thinking that too, but unlike show tickets, you can wait for the next batch of shipment to come in if you have some patience. Scalping on PS3 probably won't work, unless it's released during the holiday season.

Stupid people could've saved a lot of money if they would have waited a month or pre-ordered it before. It is a bit low to make money like this, but oh well... if people have cash coming out of their asses and willing to pay this much for one, why wouldn't you do it? If someone can spare over 1500 for it, I'm sure he needs the money less than I would.

6 days to go oh yay, not long till the 360 is out in European nations. Hope i get mine a day or 2 early, then it would be more fun.

It seems the store supplying the Xbox 360 to us wont be giving us a console on the release date anymore. When we went into MVC to order it, one of the staff said that if we pay full deposit on it there and then, we were guranteed a console on the release date. It seems not now. We recieved a letter through the post this morning, saything that we wont be getting a console because we were not the very first to order. My Dad then wrung them up (gave them a bit of a shouting I say) and said we were the 4th on the list to get one, and they only got 2, yes, 2 consloes in. WHAT?! Why sell the console then if you are only going to get 2 in.

Oh well, it looks as if I wont be getting one until after Christmas now. At least the second batch may have fixes to fix the problems the first batch of 360's are having.

They said the problem with crashing is if the PSU does not get the right amount of air to cool it down. Like around it then it would start causing people problems, which is true in most ways.

Anyway only 5 days to go yay.

MVC is crap to buy games and consoles from. It would have been best to stick to one of the major retailers.

I would have, but the main retailers I went to said they can't gurantee one before Christmas. We saw MVC advertising it, and they had one guranteed for us (so it seemed).
