See, this is a forum, not an AOL chat room. You have a quite infinite time (in retrospect) to type out your post. It takes very little time and effort to correctly spell, punctuate, and capitalize your posts. Now, we all make mistakes, but using 1337sp33k or txt talk is not a mistake, it's just pure laziness. It seems like the common retort when you tell somebody to improve their grammar is "this isn't english school" or "wat r u a teecher?". Now, I could be wrong, but I do believe English class is there so you use proper grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling outside of class, not just in. You should seriously reconsider your thoughts and maybe change your ways a bit, especially when it comes to popping off with an attitude towards other members (especially when you mistakingly do so, and in a vulgar manner).

If you cam run Half-lfie 2 then you can run CS. Try the Half-life 2 demo.

Between... there was a bit lag in some of the gameplay but it works perfectly, it got me in the mood to play it again on the xbox.

OK, probably a silly question, but is CS:Source any good? I've seen Half-life 2 with CS:Source given away free, should I get it?

Three things, why are you talking about HL2 in the CSS thread?
HL2 is NOT just one big level. It is split up into little sections, thats why there is loadings, so it can load the next section. I have go beyond the limits of the level it's self and saw the cut off. And CSS is awsome!

HL2 is one continuous game with no levels per se. They are called chapters.

CSS may take a while to load but you wont get any loading in game, that would murder you!

Anyone knows when new Counter Strike is coming out? Right now all i know its not going to be with STEAM, and its going to be free! Just like old school Counter Strike but with new Next gen Graphics and physics.

There isn't another Counter Strike even being planned. Valve believes CS:S still has a lot of life left in it due to the community.

That's not a new CS at all. CS: Online is a remake of CS:CZ aimed at the Asian market. I wouldn't call that a new Counter Strike.

Is Source just 1.6 with an update? Source is Counter-Strike on a whole new engine.

As such, the gameplay dynamics are vastly different. I had to work for weeks to get back into the same shape I was with 1.6.

Once you get used to it, though... Source is so much fun... smoke grenades are actually useful... snipers don't always rule... and team-play is much tighter and more important...

I used to play a lot of deathmatch & gun game, but I've been playing Zombie Escape now merely just for fun & chatting with everyone instead of trying to win at all costs.

Wait, what did I just read? No, seriously?

Source and 1.6 play so differently its not even funny. And if you say Source is just an updated 1.6 around most people, violence can very well ensue. No penetration, easier Headshots, the M3 shotgun is worthy, etc.

The maps even have differences.

That aside, I may hop on to those servers you've listed, as I have CS 1.6 and Source, but I rarely play Source (couldn't say no to $5 on Steam)
