Anyone here played counter-life before? It's a mod for single player half life that allows you to play through half life like normal, except you use CS weapons and the buy system. Only problem is that it doesn't work with steam versions of HL. But right now I'm playing through HL using the counter-life mod, and it's very enjoyable, since I never liked the feel of the normal weapons for HL.
I got a Counter Strike 1.5 Dedicated Server...Its fun maps mostly, the most players ever been on it was like 4. Im admin of it, and if you guys wanna make a GTP Clan, Ill change the name for it.

Scoutzknivez is the best map. Imma take the server down though...someone can just create a game and people will join. On my server, I still have bots when I create a new game. I went on de_rats and look what I got :

Anyone have news about 1.5 servers shutting down after this month? A friend told me that when you join a dedicated server within this month, it will say that "all won servers will be shut down"... meaning that you have to switch to 1.6 in order to keep playing? I'm not sure about this, cuz i haven't seen this myself....(well haven't played cs in so long actually, no time...haha, and not wasting my summer!) Someone update me on this if they find out. Thanks.
I used to play CS, I got into the Steam CS 1.6 beta and played that, but then afterwards I stopped. So how does it work now with Condition Zero out? Is there any difference for multiplayer between regular CS and CZ?
Wow. Ive been here for one year and I've never been in this sub-forum. HAHA. Cs is a fun game. Been playing since Beta 7.5 and i still play it now. Cal-m/p exp. No more cal. It was a waste of my time. haha. I just pub in bhop servers. "Gizzmos.net" good ping and good bhop server. name "`bert <#ReS>" Anyone want to play? (only weekends errr. yeah =|)
I love this game but I can only play against bots (or over LAN) because of 56k. Also, every time I play this game I have to enter "bot_difficulty" "bot_quota" and "mp_fadetoblack", is there anyway to get these settings to save, it's annoying typing them each time I play it.
yep, just go under your C:/sierra/counter-strike/cstrike/config.cfg
just edit that file with notepad, and change the current numbers and add in whatever you need. For example the bot difficulty and stuff. Pretty simple.... ask if you need more help
