Indeed. Its horrible. I do enjoy playing the game though. Yesterday was the first time in about 2 years that I've played CS. Do you play CS:S online?
 
I actually thought i was quite good till i went online.

I went online once and was Obliterated (notice the Capital O)

I noramlly do LAN games with my friends where i know i can whoop their arses. :lol:
 
Well I just finished playing. I cant believe I played for this long. Man that was fun. Especially at the end when it was nothing but knife fights. :lol:

I used to be the one getting Obliterated when I first started playing CS:S, now I do the Obliterating :sly:

I am never a sniper, I repeat never, Its all run and gun with head shots for me. :)

There are Three main reasons I die,

1. Shot in the back (snuck up on).
2. I run into a whole bunch of enemys at once.
2. Snipers!!!

If I run into someone 1on1, Its very rare I lose.

oh and knife or pistol fights are so fun 👍
 
I usually die from headshots. Nothing more frustrating than shooting in burst at a guy, only for him to turn around; spray everywhere and manage a lucky hs.
Sniping is alot of fun with the scout, but the awm or autosniper are just lame.

Hey vipergtsr, do you use xfire?

Headshot become a skill, the more you play the more you get them.

but havent played CS:S since HL2DM has come out, and my run and gun skills work great there.
 
Is anybody interested in a fun gtp cs:s clan?

I mean we could meet us on public servers to have some fun. I'll try skype or maybe we can run a ts server?

I'm a noob at cs:s. I've often played maps like de_dust and de_dust2 so I'm good at this maps (hmm - it's a very elastic term, isn't it?).

What do you think about this idea?
 
I dunno if many people would be interested in that but that isnt say that there isnt any. I tend to play on the Wolfgaming.net server almost every night.

The friend network doesn't work properly. Sometimes I can search for people to add them and then I can't even get in.

I really hope this problem will be solved very soon.

It's fun but the hitboxes are sh**. You can hide yourself behind a wall but you could be shot by another player who fires in your direction. So you've to change something in your config file. Don't know how it's called.

VAC2 is upcoming to fight cheater. And very important - don't expect too much teamwork. Maybe you find a person who'll stay with you but usually you're on your own.

Nevertheless try it.

OT: Where are you in the game? I've to kill this successor before beaming to another dimension (in the combine tower). I'm always too late. Have you already solved this situation?

Could you give me a tip how to manage this?
 
I made another attempt this weekend to play Counter Strike but I ended up playing Half Life 2 instead. 👍 I will eventually get to counter strike.
 
Anyone still play 1.6? I usually just go on random west coast servers. Steam Friends sucks so search for me on gametiger "RecycleBunny"
 
I jsut bought HL2/CS:S today and I've been playing both all afternoon. If someone wants to play CS:S or HL2: DM, just post here.

Also, wasn't there a HL2 thread? I searched but I can't find it. :confused:
 
Yeah there was a HL2 thread but it obviously got buried somewhere. Anyways if you want to play CS:S with me look for the Wolfgaming.net server. I'm always on it late at night and sometimes during the day.
 
I can't seem to get my favourite servers to appear in Steam. They worked a while ago and I know there definitely still active. Anyone had similar problems?
 
My name on CS:S right now is Krazy_Kenny.

I love it because everyone goes OMG, they killed Kenny. Luckily, sometimes someone says you bastards....:lol:
