I really miss this feature.
In GT5 it helped greatly in giving a sense of what was going on around you.

Bring it back.

I do use the "Blind Spot" indicators in GT6 & find them very useful.
But being able to adjust the Map settings in GT5 was excellent.

I used it' while I viewed My replays to watch My lines.

Every time I pop back into GT5 for a quick race, it makes me miss this feature in GT6 more and more.

The blind spot indicators are OK but the ability to zoom the map in and see exactly where the nearby cars are is a big omission. There was no need to keep looking left and right. It helped prevent many a collision.

It's a sort of a poor man's multiscreen substitute.
