firstly i didnt realise there would be other makes of cars but thats fine, however when i look at "typical opponents" i notice some have more BHP than the specified limit, any ideas why?

no.great question,as i seen it the other day , on the gt.i can only use gt ,while they use all sorts of other cars.

Because the BHP limit only applies to you. That´s why is supposed to be a challenge (is not).

Just do some weight reduction, buy a nice gearbox and put the max speed at 190km/h, you´ll be 1st with at least a 10s gap.
