Was the car difficult in those temperatures? I'm sorry but when I tested for that track it was in a rush so I managed a couple of laps and it was OK. I forgot that in practice the tyres start cold. Really sorry if I mucked up people's races. Hopefully when the next patch hits it will be easier to keep heat in the tyres.

If there was overaggressive driving though, that's not acceptable. However it's best dealt with in private messages. For this series Dan and Ace make the calls and I will support them fully.

I'm having a look at replays tonight but just to let people know, we have had someone leave due to aggressive driving. This is a fun series with great racers and great conversation, I won't have the ruined by one or two individuals. It'll be done through private messages.

How do people feel about switching to Sunday at 8pm? It's been mentioned but had no replies. It can stay as Saturday no problem but if people prefer Sunday's we can do this also.

If I could find a decent setup for the car I'd be back but so far I have failed and I'm gettgetting so frustrated it's not making the series fun for me anyanymore. Most ofthe drivers are superb in this group and I look forward to racing with them every time I'm online with the game.
 
Sunday would be no problem for me Dan, but it seems people have more problems with lag, glitches, and disconnects on Sundays than every other day of the week. Even ace had connection problems yesterday, and his internet is usually bulletproof!

I'm easy with Saturday or Sunday. 👍

@Eyeseeh50, Ian, and everyone i can put my setup up on the PSN CRAP messages, or better still if we create a new PSN message thread for this series, that way you can try my tune to see if it helps you, no problem.

The car still isn't perfect with my tune, but it makes the car more grippy on warm tyres and predictable. ;)

Edit: how about we do a test session together one day this week, or the weekend, to test things?

And @Eyeseeh50 .. it would be a shame to lose you mate.. we really wanna keep this as friendly as possible. (Altho i appreciate it is a racing game and we all have a competitive side ) if there is anything at all we could do like mentioned above ( practice day.. share set up) im keen for that. Maybe just give it one more chance?

You're welcome mate, it's good to have us all as fast as possible, that way we can all race hard and together!! A little test session sometime before the next round would be a really good idea!

But CRAPpers, we should start a PSN chat thread for the championship, that way we can share ideas and thoughts about the car setup and each race weekend, it would be cool!

Really enjoying the championship, it's format and everything, and the party chat banter is the best, as always! Can wait for the next 2 races!! 👍👍

CRAP Stig and Barry The CRAP Tuning Monkey have combined forces by taking Zak's tune as a base, twiddle knobs at random (Barry really is a monkey) and hit it really hard with a hammer. They'very made the following adjustments for driving with the ds4 which is all CRAP Stig can do at the moment until his ba5#@rd foot heals.

Set brake pressure to 70
Rear downforce to 4
Weight all forward 50.5
Sterring ratio to 21.4:1
Removed the front toe in setting it to 0
Raised the rear suspension to 89mm (front 82)

TC, SC & ABS Off

This seems to give me more controllable turn in at least on controller. Some of those adjustments may help someone out there (or maybe not)

The weekend be here soon guys! Whos ready for saturday?? . @HammyMansell is storming at the front, but dont forget. We will be deducting the 2 worst "weekends" people have so even if u missed some, theres loads to go yet!
 
Maybe tonight if there is a couple people on we could do a bit of a free practice for these cars? Just an idea... or a few random car/track combo fun races?

I should be on around about 20:00 GMT this evening, hope to catch up with a few of you.
 
Fantastic little practice race last night in the BMWs at Bugatti!!

Great 1st lap with @ty2 acekiller15 and @Danrc2010, then from lap 2 til the end, i was "Under Pressure" from ace, until the inevitable happened! :lol:



Looking forward to Saturday!!
