After increasing pressure to respond to evidence of an affair, Prime Minister Doog held a press conference in his office in Rokjavikberg today. The speech lasted about 15 minutes, followed with about 45 minutes of questioning from the press. The event was televised, and received a very high amount of views this evening. Most notable was when the Prime Minister said, quote "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." :sly:
Since this televised address, the public has responded in various manners. Some portions have gained some trust in the Prime Minister, whilst others have lost confidence in him. Though, his approval ratings went down 12%, then up 14%, and have settled at 38%. Kim Jong un's approval ratings are still at a surprising 81%.

We pay 6 billion for 600,000 troops.

Also, the Exodus is getting an upgrade. We will spend 5,000,000,000 for the new weapon, called the "Burst missile," which will improve on the Ballistic missile's capabilities tenfold. It will destroy all aircraft within 3000 yards of explosion, and it can fire up to 5 at one time. The idea is very simple but our execution makes it VERY effective. When fired in a group of 3 or more, jets will need to climb above 10,000 feet in order to avoid damage. It takes about 15 seconds from launch until it explodes in air.

The problem with it is it can destroy our jets as well. And it needs constant resupplying from other submarines in order to keep it full of burst missiles. Plus the long reload from firing (5 minutes).

Oh, and I will rate my army's strengths (out of 100) in each specification. If you're going to do this, you cannot have two specifications with a rating of 90 or higher (or two 89s or anything similar, if you're going to do this) and if you have one close to 100, you need to sacrifice strength in other specifications. You need to be fair, and realistic.

Land: 70 (Average, they are average in terms of handling land vehicles and nothing special in terms of man-to-man and gun combat)

Air: 98 (The strongest air force in the world, our bomber troops and dogfighters are unmatched, and our heli squads and rescue teams are the most quick and efficient. Anything dares to challenge us in the sky, they will be annihilated easily. In fact, our strength in the skies nullify any disadvantage in the sea.)

Sea: 62 (Meh, our seamanship isn't as needed as our air force. In fact, the only reason we should use the navy is to transport aircraft in aircraft carriers and the Exodus. Italian naval troops are the only navy that can actually do a dent in battle, but the rest are just... below average.)

Our troops would be like:

Ground: 95. Our ground troops have amazing rifles, the best of foreign resins and one of the best Spec Ops on in the world. Not to mention our convoy of super-hummers ;)
Air: 74. Our air troops are not the king like our forefathers, but the won't back away from a fight. Those 10 B2's will rip city to pieces.
Sea: 60. Meh...
 
Air: 76 We don't have the strongest, but we have the best ways to deliver our ground troops.
Land: 100 We have some of the best rifles, amazing armor (The kind we sold to the USS which they use is nothing compared to what we have), a 1 million strong Special Operations force. We also have War Trikes and NAIV's (The USS' Super Hummers).
Sea: 89 We have much coastland to train with as well as enough metal to produce a lot of boats.
 
Sea: 99: Our entire nation is surrounded by water. Our ships and troops will rip you apart if you step in the Gulf of Mexico.

Land: 76: Not the most dominant force in the world, but brutal training in the South Pole (plus the knowledge of our small nation so well) give us an advantage over most. Plus, 1.5M LOTFIA agents are some of the best in the world.

Air: 66: Meh.

The location of the spill is unknown, yet it is in 3 oceans that are thousands of miles apart. How big was the tanker that made the spill? Was it just circling Antarctica spilling oil all the way?

Oh, and if you're going to make a country, make one. Don't just make posts saying you're going to make one. Those are useless posts and you know what happens when you make them...

I guess I'll post some of my shenanigans also.

Ground: 94: My elite FAST Teams are the best Special Forces in the world and my specialized ABS (Advanced Bulk Squadron) Soldiers are devastating on any kind of battlefield, conventional or non. My standard ground troops are also very well equipped. MSK-419's and foreign bulletproof resins make my soldiers very potent. The only drawback is our lack of powerful land vehicles. Our modified Abrams tanks and Assault Jeeps need an update.

Air: 72: Our air force is mediocre other than our advanced F35 Lightnings and our various bombers. We also are equipped with AC-130's/C-130's. Our Air Force can provide adequate air support but nothing extreme.

Sea: 80: My capital is completed surrounded by water, so I need a well-equipped Navy. We are equipped with foreign weapons and advanced radar systems. Our Navy can easily transport/support my elite ground troops.

Mr. Anderson has aknowladged this, and wishes the NEF a happy four years. The USS has let Mr. Anderson stay in office for four more years before he will willingly resign, as his approval rating is about 77%.

It's election time in Doogeria, and things haven't been looking so great.

The current Prime Minister, Doog, has had a turbulent campaign trail, often being booed at speeches, and in one case, pelted with tampons by the Women's Worker Union. His approval ratings have continued to fluctuate, and are settled at 41% at the moment. Despite these setbacks, the Prime Minister has not appeared to have given up just yet. He is scheduled to give his biggest speech yet, in which he plans to discuss his affair, as well as ask the Doogerian public an apology and ask for forgiveness. The police have been stationed around the Central Square and in front of the Parliament building, in the center of Rokjavikberg. The event is expected to receive a higher amount of viewers than any televised address yet in Doogeria.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong un and a dedicated entourage of North Korean communists have been traveling around the nation, giving speeches. To the surprise of many, Jong un has wooed the public with an unexpected persuasiveness by eloquence in his speeches. The former North Korean leader's ratings sit at 79%. Kim Jong un, like Prime Minister Doog, is also scheduled to give a speech in the Central Square in Rokjavikberg, just 500 feet away from the Prime Minister's Speech on the steps of the Parliament building. It expected to be a tense atmosphere, and police are weary of a possible clash of supporters of Prime Minister Doog and Kim Jong un.

The USS is monitoring the situation in Doogeria very closely.

I am happy to announce that South Korea will in fact be the hosting country within Doogeria. More details to come soon!
