On the basis of this thread you made yesterday, I'd suggest you should consider searching and also winding in the language somewhat. Asking how to turn off autosave doesn't require an expletive.

and asking how to turn off auto save isn't stupid, do you know how to do it n GT5? i dont think you can anyway.

back on topic, so bottom line is i wont be able to create one anytime soon?

i wanted to make a petition thread with a link containing the one i have in my sig, just to get more focus on it.

Even so, OP's post is a valid question. The rules are the rules... and they do say the 100 post ban is lifted after GT5's release.

What I am saying is after isn't an exact time line.

If you say something will happen after Christmas it doesn't necessarily mean on the 26th December it means it could happen anytime from the 26th December.

That would be advertising - trying to recruit members from our site to a different one to suit your purposes - so I wouldn't bother if I were you. Feel free to keep it in your signature, but don't make a thread about it. Which neatly answers my original question. Do you have to create a new thread? No, and in this instance it would be unwise to.

Anyway I was actually pretty frustrated with the auto-save thing because I want to test cars out before I buy them, it's bad enough they're in the used dealership and I'll never get to see them again...

Yes, you want people to pay attention to your thing - and the people you want to do it is our userbase.

It has since been lifted. So I'm not really seeing any reason to keep this thread open much longer. And that was before you decided to pick a fight with Famine (I speak from personal experience when I you won't win ... the dude's practically a lawyer).
