You should take a Formula One car and take it to the Cape Ring, 1 million in 1 and a half minute.

Ya I just checked that and all you have to do is log on and back off every day to keep the 200% multiplyer so all is great here! seriously I can not stand all these want everything for nothing whiners, if you can't be bothered by logging in and out (taking about 1 minute per account) then you deserve less payouts. seriously people!

Thanks. 👍 and yes I agree, it's not much of hassle is it?

Lol... Not everyone can be 12 and live with there parents and play video games all day...i am sure that goes for the majority of those saying they do not mind the grinding or wait let me rephrase that "effort"

If the prizes increase - Oh it's so easy to earn credits, no fun here, bla bla bla
If prizes decrease . Oh it's so hard to earn credits, I don't have life for this, I'm not a useless teen bla bla bla, but I have time to complain on GTP though (as well as the ones above)!
Seriously people, WHAT THE **** DO YOU WANT  ???

Reasonable fixed prize money and experience points. Not some bogus and useless login bonus system with it.

That what the 🤬 I want.

No hard feelings, Shadow :)

No hard feelings too bro 👍 :)
But I was talking to people in general, NEVER happy, but don't do a S**T to change, lose their time complaining and complaining and complaining... I don't know if the problem is mine (maybe I'm the Crazy ) but...I just think about other people's attitudes...it's a natural thing in me...and the results, as you can see, are not the healthier...

oh yeah.. doh!! lol..

may have to go back to the rubber band trick then lol.
why...? you earn 386.000$ at Le mans now for every 3 minutes in the Ferrari seasonal.

with that 200% increase, your lucky its not 100%...

No, I'm "Not lucky." We don't have to play GT5. This isn't some kind of hardship of life, it is a video game. I play it for my enjoyment, when I stop enjoying it, I stop playing. The XP/Credit/cost/multiplier system harms that enjoyment. Pretty simple.

To add, say I log on and see some cars in a new OCD I want.

Before: Pick a seasonal I haven't done, do all the races. Walk away with enough to buy a couple.

Now: Grind la Sarthe for a week, while hoping I don't forget to keep the multiplier up. Derp.

One of these isn't fun.

before updates 2 laps(2 restarts) = 1 million.
now, 3 laps(3 restarts) = 1 million

Don't really see that big of a deal regarding the new payout.

i made like 8 million in 1 hour give or take some breaks. and started off from 9.871 credits.

this is also pertaining to Le mans Ferrari festival.

but man, it would suck...if the payout was just 168.000 credits each time...

I recommended grabbing the x2010 seasonal while its up, just make sure to have your 200% bonus and its 10million for the win although if your on a DS3, it takes some warm up laps but its easy enough to get it done.

Actually, i will say this, the 200% with BoB's is a nice thing. Still not on par with ferrari seasonal spamming, but double income from BoB's will be great until PD jacks it up or something.

Still about 80million short of getting all cars and halfway bar from l40. Anyway to me grinding is pointless unless I enjoys it (which I don't) Just means more time to enjoy the progress to full collection and l40 I guess.

Care to elaborate more please on this? I don't see where to go to do this. Hopefully someone else can explain.

I don't have time to play GT5 every week, let alone every day.

I guess PD thinks there should be a penalty for that? I don't get it. But whatever. This does put a damper on things. They did have a problem with the time needed to buy a lot of cars, fixed it to everyone's great jot, and there really was no need to head back in this direction.

I can understand those saying 'get over it', but indeed it is a lame point rather than something anyone is pleased about.

There are a LOT of good PS3 games. I don't play GT5 all the time. I get tired of it and put it away for a while. Why should we be pushed to keep playing it when we're tired of it, just to keep the multiplier? It's unnecessary complication that has no impact on the racing and makes the game a bit less fun for everybody.

It's not a big deal, but it makes the game a bit less fun and is very odd.

It's one of the new time trials, and it's a one-off. You actually get $2M on the 200% bonus, and I now do consistent 1:20 laps without risking to invalidate. Have started to use it for new gear grinding, but it's oh so painful, took me about 15 minutes just to get one new item.

Oh ya, forgot to look there. To bad I already did all the Time and drift trials along with the red bull event. The money that I won, I used to buy all of the cars in the OCD. They were half off still.

Here is a thing I wish they did. Instead of 200% why couldn't they make it to 300%? It would still be same payout as before if you log in each day otherwise normal price.

PD is such a tease, giving triple payouts and then taking it away... reminds me of a gentlemens club loool.

I just wish payouts and other things would remain stable. I was going to buy the speed 8 yesterday but low and behold reduced credits and double the OCD price.

Ok, it no BIG deal as I my favourite grind is 24 hour Ring in a group C car but I'd like PD just to decide on payout levels and leave it at that.

I don't really mind that it went back, I simply would have liked a few days advance notice. Wouldn't have hurt them to let us know when they announced some of the features for Spec 2.0, or would it have?

I don't see the problem.
P.D. told us the OCD prices and the triple payouts were temporary.
I for one, am glad they have been reset. It could breathe some new life into the marketplace.

(Jeremy Clarkson voice) Still, could be worse.

Just to add my 0.02 swedish kronor:
The decision to revert back to the old reward/price balance was a bad one, and made worse by the login "bonus".

Since PD seems to want to have an RPG aspect of Gran Turismo, they should take a page from successful MMOGs out there (WoW, Eve Online etc.). These games *reward* you for taking a break, encouraging you to get back to the game again. In WoW for example you will receive more XP after being logged off for a day or so.

Punishing me for not having time to play the game is not the way to get or retain your mature customers. Not sure if PD cares though as the current model seems to target teenagers and the unemployed. :(

Maybe it's time to take a look at iRacing and the others again. I'd much rather pay RL cash and be able to race what I want.

I respect your opinion, but the marketplace is ridiculously badly implemented. The trading system in GT5 is downright awful.

I've had 7 successful trades and 1 scam, but at least half of them were simply hassles.

If PD had a decent marketplace, obviously car collectors would be way happier.

While I agree PD always planned to remove the nice pay and prices, I don't see that as a good justification.

In my opinion, extremely hard races should lead to extremely high pay, and be repeatable and diverse. Replace the grind with challenge.

One hard long and very limited spec race, requiring tuning and practice, leading to ten million credits if you win, is much more fun than grinding le sarthe 50 times in a row at this point.

So at the moment I'm on a 110% multiplier - will that go up each consecutive day that I'm online for? <-- if yes to that then if I dont play for one day will I lose the multiplier forever, or will I just start again?

You just start again.

Basically everything in GT5 just got many times more expensive. Every hour of grinding just got multiplied by many times.

If you play every day, that's not as big a problem. I already have all the cars I wanted, so I don't really care, but it's clear the game is less fun for most gamers as a result of this.

2 things I have seen that are fantastic about this(I am at 200%) is the bspec cashouts, I run the grinder regularly and now my bank of bob is worth double. I also rubber band indy to win 1000 tickets and I now win double per night

Yeah, that sounds pretty sweet. Maybe I'll go back to doing that. I had given it up because I don't leave my PS3 on all the damn time.

I think I'll just buy Forza 4, which is inferior to GT5 is several ways, but I think never loses sight of the fact it's a freaking game.

I should get my Forza 4 today, and oddly enough, I'll likely just put it aside until a later date. Darn you PD, darn you, for adding more suits and helmets I need to collect first! Really couldn't care less about the rest of Spec 2.0 and the DLC.

That's what I've already gone back to doing as well, though I do it by hand at Dream Car Championship.
