Hey guys, new to the forum here. I've been playing Forza 4 with the Fanatec CSR Wheel and CSR Elite Pedals for quite some time, and frankly it's getting old on me. So, to spice things up a bit I decided to buy a PS3 and a copy of GT5, and after hooking up my rig I noticed something a little funny with the pedals:
Whenever I use the throttle, there is a constant force feedback rumble (intensity increases in direct relation to throttle input). This constant FF is distracting, can't be good at all for the motors and I fear that any prolonged use while this is going on will certainly damage the hardware.
All other FF elements hinting at traction levels are present in the wheel. But like I said, throttle application produces way too much FF "noise". Adjusting the FF levels did not get rid of the problem.
I also encountered this issue a while ago when setting up my rig on PC for Grand Prix Legends. I haven't been able to play that game yet, however when testing out the hardware on my PC I had the same intense throttle FF. At the time I thought that was a test for the FF, but now that it`s occuring with the PS3 it makes me think it`s some quirk...
Anyone encountered this problem? Any tips to fix this will be much appreciated.
