Custom Soundtracks in GT5 - What are you listening to?

Maybe some Casiopea and T-Square. Back to the roots. :)

Good choice. "Faces", "Truth", and "Megalith" would be a definite must to listen to while passing people left and right.

Linkin Park for me, maybe some techno too.

I tend to turn the music down and listen to the engine so I can hear my shift points. Plus I couldn't stand listening to the same 5 or 6 songs I liked over and over. With custom music I'll probably throw on some Amon Amarth, Tool, Opeth, other heavy stuff, 90s Alternative, 80s pop, J-pop, Electronic, Industrial...just about everything. Maybe even some rap and just cruise the Ring real slow with Tupac blasting.

For me it's T-Rex, Queen, Sea Sick Steve, Ocean Colour Scene, Ian Brown, Kasabian, Oasis, Dire Straits, UB40 & U2 oh also Blues songs too.I don't have particular favs so Soul records too.

Well I'm trying to compile a GT5 custom soundtrack list. It's growing week by week, but ever so slowly. I'm only trying to put the songs that I really like on it. Some hip-hop/rap, some trance/electronica, drum and bass, and breakbeat. I've also put some past GT songs on it.

I'll be listening to the roar of the engine!!!

Although, my favourite driving album is Songs for the Deaf, will prob get that going on the "easier" races!

Daiki kasho, moon over the castle, jimmy eat world, fuel by metallica, kasabianand carbon kid song in TDU.(fantastic driving song)
Oh and some gt classics
everything must go ,are you gonna go my way.my favourite game and reason is treason.

I'm usually turnning the music off while driving, I find it to be easier to focus on the race and I tend to get better shifts without background music, but if i was to listen to music while racing (or while watching replays), it was going to be among those lines:
First and foremost, the song from the E³ trailer. Aside from that:

Powerman5000, Rob Zombie, Turbonegro, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Los Campesinos, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rock n Roll Soldiers.

I'm thinking of creating two separate playlists, one for rock and the other for techno.

Hmmm have no clue... Jack Johnson's Latest is on my PS3, as well as Coldplay's Vida La Viva (or is it Viva la Vida?)... I have a mix of Japanese music on a cd as well so that will be added.. Soon... done.. now have the pillows and Flow to keep me going... ---- Randy

I wonder if the team over at Polyphony Digital will include the ultimate level of detail - showing the driver animation of changing tracks on the CD player/iPod in real-time when we choose to change our custom tracks!

That would be amazing, to say the least.. Total immersion! 👍:sly:

it also would be amazing that it lets yo see you tube in the GTR sat nav, that will be so cool

Hannah Montana or Justin Bieber..

Depends on my mood, but nothing beats 'Baby' blasting at max volume while pushing 200 in the straights.

Aren't they the same people?

As for me, meh, probably just chuck my recently purchased playlist in there, that's what I listen to mostly. Perhaps some Ace of Spades and Guns 'n' Roses simply from driving memories.

I guess I will have to buy "The Cardigans-My Favourite Game" for the first race I play on GT5, that will be heaven.
