lol, poor guys... Ferraris arent bad, its just that people who know very little, yet think they know lots tend to point at cars that look fast and say....*FERRARI zOMG!!*

we werent mocking ferrari's just the stupid people who associate with them...:)

IMO when retarded football players and out of work Hollywood actors own and drive them it tends to put them in a dimmer light. While the new ones are nice, it's the 60's and 70's ones that have all the style and class... :)

IMO, alot of the great looking Ferraris came from the 80's.
The 308, F40, and the 288 GTO.

I think it depends what country you're in, and this influences the format as well. In England I think they have to have a combination of number and letters, but here in NZ we have six characters (or less), and any letters or numbers you like.

I've seen 1 Getaway in Stockholm with a Corvette. The people behind that are bit crazy and are good drivers.

On the plates, I'm not sure if it goes for all states, but here in Texas, a custom plate will cost you every month to have it. :grumpy:

They wanted $110,000 for one that says "T"...

The plate "1" changes hands very rarely - last time it went for over a million, no kidding. An interesting investment if ya got the cash I guess. :)

lol.. a plate of that value eludes the point of a license plate. Because surely they wouldnt actually use it on there car......

A safe deposit box might be a good start. :)

There was recently an "epidemic" here of people going along and stealing number plates off of cars. They'd just collect them and hang them in their houses like trophies, and the poor driver has to shell out around $300 for a replacement!!! When they caught the culprits they owed a lot of money to all the people they ripped off. It was easy to track the owners down, 'cos the criminals still had ALL the license plates at their home. :dunce:

About 3 years ago, someone did something like that, but with manufacturer logos.

The 2 guys owed the owners of 3 Mercedes, 2 Porsche, and many others over $5,700 total....They had a **** load of the little logos on the cars.
