The only problem I see with the idea is that then it wouldnt only be locked to the PS systems, you would have Xbox dweebs moaning that it isn't Forza blah blah blah. So stuff em, GT will always be kick of the racers, it has been around the longest afterall!
 
Epic!!

Perhaps tongight should be the double points scoring round that you suggested a few weeks back to make up for the postponement of this race last week.....
 
Right first race just amazing. No probs what so ever.

Second race right wtf. Firstly i held back because everyone was bunched up then mole went all weird and i got minor damage from where he dc. Then got spun out by priesty which i don't no what was behind that but hey ho. Pitted early and managed to catch up to knight and kickstart. There all 3 of us started to catch hms. Right hms should of moved out the way. He clearly wasn't going to gain any more places. We had this problem with supra for god sake. Every race event the car getting lapped lets other cars go!

Another thing i forgot to say hms was getting lapped.

Ah sorry mcglone, I worried someone might have caught damage from me dc'ing in the middle of a pack. Router just died, no clue why, it's usually very stable :(

Race 1 was fun, stupid mistake by me ended in a huge spin. Tried to keep my foot in because it's an FF car and it should pull it round, but that was going nowhere but sideways :D - Still clawed my way back to 3rd so not a total disaster, your pace was very good though mcglone, and my tyres were starting to go off as I'd pushed a bit too hard in the opening laps. You had that race won regardless of my mistake I think.

The integra is epic under braking though - we actually struggle, or at least I did, through the first sector of this race with stability, and lost a bit of time there to most other drivers/cars, but made up a huge amount of time under braking into the chicane - I don't know if Kamy experienced the same, I think we run different brake setups, but it made me rear end Jimmy pretty hard twice into Turn 1 because my braking point was so much later.
 
Don't worry man. The damage was very minor i mean i could race still just no where near as fast.

Yeah first race i saw you started to get a lead. But kamy was in front, i remember i had kick behind me he braked early and so did i then kamy made a mistake and i quickly jumped on that then managed to catch you.
 
Amazing Race. Good results for myself and Kickstart!. In race 1 I had an epic race but made 2 really stupid mistakes and lost 2 positions overall but hey ho. Moleman I actually liked to see you getting in about which I honestly don't mind even though I bump my gums lol. Good thing damage was off!. To be honest I think given the opportunity myself and Kickstart would have had that race because we had so much pace but struggled to get past cars. The Tegs werent all that fast around Cape to be honest!.

Race 2, WOW!. I had A mediocre start but made it up by sticking to Nathan and pushing to keep Kamy in sight. The pit stops, well, what James was doing I don't know but I'm just glad me and Kickstart stayed out for 1 lap extra because we got the jump!. I was pushing hard on my out lap and gained A second on Kamy but conceded defeat after he made it back up. I just nursed the car keeping it on track!. Then in lap 15 I started to gain Kamy. On lap 16 I was 5.9s behind and managed to catch up to 4.9 which is alot considering I wasn't pushing.

All I ahve left to say is well done to McGlone on your first win and Excellent job to Kickstart for getting around the Mazda's and Mcglone on race 2!

Been quite a unlucky season for you, obv you one of the faster drivers but you always seemed to get caught up in incidents!

RE our incident, as people mentioned some couldn't see you, you were showing on my screen but you weren't solid you were transparent, i decided to run up the inside assuming there wouldn't be a impact and I would pass straight through you. I didn't. :/

Had a good battle with Cally too, gave him back his place tho when I shouldn't!

One of my more cautious races, was quite hard on tire wear and the camber of the track made it easier to slide off for me.

Roll on next week!
 
Had a meh night of racing, spinning on the last lap was just my fault, however, in race 2 James stopped me getting into the pits doing exactly what I got told not to do 2 weeks ago. Then kickstart gave me damage which caused me James and mcglone to all slow down. I hope I get more lucky next week...

You forgot to mention how in race 1 you manage to hit me 2 times in different situations. When I was side by side with you braking to turn 1 and you just tried to do the turn as I wasn't there and pushed me into the wall, but still made the pass, and then couple of laps later when I braked on the limit but somehow you decided you just could brake even later and dive up alongside me hitting me hard. Still managed to keep track position and lost it because of my own mistake.
Then got hit by a Mazda and finished 6.

After the display on the first race I was mad. The strattegy was to go in front as fast as possible and gap the pack so I didn't have to suffer the same in race 2. I reallize I was a bit agressive and apologise for that.
After my pitstop it was a game of mice and mouse with jimmy. I was trying to keep the tires good but would try to push a little if I see the gap becoming smaller.

Actually I was faster through sector 1, lost out on Sector 2 and was a little bit faster in Sector 3. At least in Qualify.

What lap was it? Cause i remember getting a tap, at first i didn't know if anyone was there until you pushed me on to the grass.
I didn't hit you that hard. There was one point where i was going on the inside but you was closing it but there was still a gap there and i went for it. Then when it came to the corner he kept closing it in so i dived back again.

Another issue second race with hms on the straight that made me laugh. He made a mistake near the entrance of the pits and i caught up to him i went on the outside then on the straight he started pushing me onto the grass.
I think i remember i horned cally because i wanted to catch up to knight and kick :')



But yeah my first win! and i got a good feeling about the next races to come ;)
 
Ah man sorry about that, didn't realise I had forced you wide.

Sad thing for me is that the championship is over for me now, just had too many low results and all because of stupid mistakes / dc's. Still gonna finish obviously but I've got no chance of a strong position now :(

Just setup then I think. I was losing maybe .2-3 through the first sector, about even through Sector 2, but could gain easily half a second under braking into the chicane. I run quite a strange (to you, I guess :P) brake setup though with literally 100% brake bias on the rear but I guess your Integra is quite different. Works for me :)
 
I changed my brakes setup and i managed to gain 0.200 off. So it made a big change. I also went for a much harder setup that gained me another few 0.200. Before i done all of that i was very slow, like in the 53's/54's
 
cannot reiterate enough how awesome last nights racing was for me, easily the most fun I've ever had on GT5, and I was on a bit of an adrenaline rush after both races lol. Jimmy, was great fun battling you in the first race, then working together in the second race to try and get the jump on the mazdas. Knight, sorry if you got damage from me, haven't had a chance to watch the replay yet, but i'll have a look and see what happened, what I will say though is that at the time, it felt no worse than a number of moves that had been pulled on me during the race.

May seem so soon but i have already tested out on deep forest reverse, and the time i have just done looks very quick. This might be another good race for the good old beamer ;)
