It wasn't a big hit but it could of ended the race for myself. Never mind then :)
 
i've got no idea what happened on the first lap of the 2nd race, i went into the first corner 2nd or 3rd from last as I usually seem to do on the second race due to the civic being naff off the line. next thing I knew, there was smoke everywhere, so I put my Days of Thunder hat on and managed to get through it all without being collected, checked my position and I was 1st! spent the next 6 laps being slowly but surely reeled in by Mole and Mcglone, and once they caught me, I decided to dive in the pits at the last moment to try and get the jump on them with fresh tyres. It seemed to work, as after everyone had pitted, I was back in front with a 2 second lead I think. At this point I was really hoping Mcglone would be able to keep Mole battling for the rest of the race, and it seemed to be working until Mcglone had his off track excursion, that left Mole to put some quick laps in and breeze past me a couple of laps from the end after my tyres had gone off.
Gotta say, that was probably the most tactical race I've had in a fair while on GT5, and was really good fun. Also gotta say a big thanks to Jimmy for helping me out in the first race, cheers mate :)

I thought you were going to the right of the track and keeped my foot down and went left. :dunce: I should have slow down.

Bad weekend for me. Race1 did a spin by myself.
Race 2 same thing. Spin in the same spot and damage on lap 1. Pit stop out lap damage again (Hit knight), pitstop, 2 more laps and damage. Tryed to follow jimmy on the distance and pited when he pited. After pitstop we went through bradders. I only unlap me because you were to slow at the moment. Then I followed jimmy close to be sure he wouldn't fall asleep. ;)
Then D'c out of nowere. My connection was great all day and this happens in the last laps. :grumpy:
 
Didn't really see to much of the action these rounds, not sure what happened to Bradders at the start if the 2nd race but it looked like he turnt to early and got stuck on the wall, I had nowhere to go so went straight into the back of him. Got engine damage but tbh it didn't really affect me as I'm that slow at DFR anyway!. Glad it's over!

Knight losing power on his pad made the night worthwhile lol (sorry dude)
 
I thought you missed your braking point when i passed you. I actually nearly went into the back on you. One of my front tires was wrecked. Just unlucky for you ;)

You was actually showing good speed against the top 3rd. Me , Mole and Kick. You should of been up there really. And kamy man! Last 2 races went pretty bad for you.

I've heard about the last lap of race 2. Jimmy is sending me the replay and if you are at fault for whatever happened between yourself and dave, then there will be a points deduction penalty.

I haven't seen it yet so not passing judgement but just be warned. And if it does happen no arguments please just take it on the chin.
 
James like I said last night to you, if I was deemed to be pushing my luck and DEFENDING my position too much (even though it was for 2nd last place lol), then I have no problem with being penalised for it..... From my point though, Nathan was bang out of order for the dirty tactics made in the last few seconds. Anyway, like I say, if I'm at fault in anyway, I don't have a problem with a penalty :)
 
Watching the replay now, by lap 4 everyone on the track had damage XD

EDIT: There we go watched it, he turns into me causing him to slide and spin off the track, i was trying to avoid contact and pass cleanly but he just kept weaving all over the track...

Nathan, you admitted to smashing him shut up hahahaha... Whether or not you are penalised I watched it live and don't give me your bull haha...

Also.. 5PM GMT till 9:30 PM GMT tomorrow.. WTFFFFFFFFF

I was trying to work out what happened for most of the race actually. I thought that you hadn't seen me get alongside and you turned into me, then Jimmy went into the back of me. But then I couldn't see how Jimmy could've hit me again whilst I was trying to get out the way. So that makes more sense. I guess I just got a bit overexcited getting into the lead haha! Sorry about that then mate. And Jimmy!

I absolutely loved the 3/4 lap battle we had later in the race though. I was actually disappointed when I saw you dropping back, I was having loads of fun. I reckon you could've had me if you'd stuck with me, I got really sloppy on the last lap and gave myself damage.
 
Bradders i was passing you on the inside over the concrete, You spun and I got caught up in it. Otherwise I would have had the lead...

Lol, was quite close, was pretty chuffed when I seen you come out only just infront of me, when I got in front I did manage to pull a slight gap out but as I pitted quite early my tires werent that great then I slide into the wall (after the short tunnel) and caused my self right front damage, I was hoping you'd crash aswell but i'd already lost to much time.

great little battle tho :)

Wtf are you on about? i never admitted to smashing him up, i said he took himself out, you didn't watch it live as we raced passed you two corners ago, watch the replay and tell me that it was my fault...
 
Did I not say no arguments please? And I haven't even watched the replay yet! 'kin hell lad!

I'm not fussing, but when i was looking down the hill as you 2 turned into the corner along with McGlone I seen it, And I havent watched a replay... How else did I know straight off the bat last night it happened before dave said A word.. :S

quick question, is it still planned to run the next race on the full weather suzuka course, or are we changing it so we don't repeat the track? suzuka east maybe?

Being selfish I'd like a Suzuka dry race, just because last time here I was underpowered, overweight and had my race ruined.

I have a sweet set up here and should have been near the front!
