I was just about to put that same link on up, I was searchin for the first D1 game, then I saw 2005 and I flipped out. What were the small quirks on the first one by the way. I'm planning on getting a swap disc and was debating on whether to get Kaido Battle 3 or D1GP (04?). Also, can U.S. users go online with Battle Gear 3?

kb3 vs d1gp = get kb3 (lot of tracks, cars, more 'realistic')
BG3 can be played online just in japan

Baido Battle 3 for sure; I heard that it is possible to play BG3 online outside Japan, but it's not easy... I never tried... great game nevertheless

i feel this game is not so easy.
But i think its worthy to play it.
Don't need to do a lot of setting ,just go drift. 👍

I start to play the game from this generation,so i don't know it so well.

272mb is DVD fornat .

i've try to compress the file and my method is to change the format to vcd format.
i found that vcd and .wmv format can largely reduce the size .
DVD format vid is more clear but large size.
'Winzip' method is almost the same size.
i can't find any other method so far.

There are only two PS2 machines at my home.
….But I don't satisfy with them ,I'm waiting for PS3 coming on 2006 Spring .

I don't like to see delay occurring when playing racing games
especially the moment GT4 i-Link playing with my friends .

I don't have the first version of D1 GP.
I think 2005 version is OK and acceptable with regard to choppy problem.
At least light tune and full tune battle is OK.

its D1GP, the japan drifting series, so its only cars that compete in Japan, which I dont think the El Camino does. But theres also no Viper, or GTO, and I would have to check again but I dont think there are any american drivers in this game, even though they frequently compete in japan now. You can unlock a Honda Odyssey though, lol.
