Haha, in percentages my win ratio is about 7%. I'm sure @Voodoovaj easily doubles that! Plus winning at A+/S level is not easy. My 'victories' in D/S do not compare. I'm lucky to start top 5 now my DR is going up again. At 17.3K DR, 95 clean races, time to head outside.

This week is going to feel empty without a GR3 race. Easily my favourite class and there should be one every week

One reason why I wish you could online multiplayer the GT League. I would play the GT3 cup so much...Let's face it, I'd play it ALL. It would give far more significance to all the cars.

Have a single event from each tier be a ranked race, so race A, B, and C would come from corresponding GT League tiers. Shows how much I play it now...I can't even remember what the different tiers are, it's amateur, intermediate, and professional, no?

Add a Race D from the Endurance events.

It would totally be the best of both worlds. Same set up for single player or multiplayer, you simply choose whether you want single player or multiplayer. I'm going to keep banging the drum and hope it happens.

I just finished second there, and the first place guy said to me afterwards "ever heard of track limits". Well, every time I went up there, I gained time on the guy in front of me and the guy behind me. I feel like if the game will allow it, and it's faster, why not use it.

Because it makes you look bad.

Definitely not a concern for me. I have many ways of making myself look bad. Besides, what exactly is the value of looking good?

Qualifying time is down to 1:47.286 at Catalunya.

Higher grid positions haven't translated to better results, though. A spin in race one, and two, and an overly aggressive Spaniard in race three have seen me drop another 2000DR. Balls.

Oh, wait a minute. Central outer loop I wondered how it was 6 laps in GR.4. Sigh. Not only Tokyo again, one of the most boring crap configurations as well. Suzuka GR.2 for the daily car bonus then, bleh.

I'd like to try the Group 2 race but I'm genuinely concerned I wont be able to have the consistent pace. Seems the faster and stickier the cars get, the worst off I am.

Even Gr.4 has become a challenge ever since I started shifting myself.

Had one more race before going to my girlfriend's house for the night. Less than ten races on the wheel, and I have my first win. I'll admit, probably wouldn't have happened if a certain situation hadn't happened.

I had noticed. Gives me something to aim for if I get a chance for my qualifying tomorrow. As long as I'm ahead of my bosses boyfriend, I'm generally happy enough. Not too sure why I initially tried it in the WRX, though . .

That did not go over well the last time Tokyo was on Although there is the option to change your psn ID It's a good track to play hot pursuit, especially now with penalty zones. Tap car, tap wall, car pulled over at the penalty zone. I wonder how long it will take until that catches on.

I see the daily disconnect is also still going strong. Always during matchmaking. If it was my connection, wouldn't I be disconnected during a race now and then...

Erm, first you pit manoevered him... He must have gone off track while trying to recover, hence the delay on the penalty.

Second, you kept two wheels on the track at all times, no penalty detected.

Penalty system is stupid. Penalties only trigger when a car goes completely outside track limits. (or hits a wall)

It's a good track to play hot pursuit, especially now with penalty zones. Tap car, tap wall, car pulled over at the penalty zone. I wonder how long it will take until that catches on.

I feel so dirty whenever I need to do this. Sometimes it's just necessary when dealing with the bad eggs.

I could be wrong (no expert here) but I'm guessing the system isn't (yet) intelligent to decipher whether you've purposely hit the wall or it's the result of the driver ahead so it gives you the benefit of the doubt.

Although I've found on some occasions it doesn't always trigger a penalty. Maybe it depends how hard you've tapped them and the duration between you tapping them and the wall.

It's the force of the tap as well as the force with which you tap the wall. It also depends on DR as lower DR gets the benefit of the doubt (or rather more leniency when it comes to contact)

I was on the inside since I didn't know the driver in front of me, didn't want to brake in his slipstream and was hoping the car behind me would stay on the outside. Nope he simply runs into me.

To make sure it wasn't a simple accident, 3 corners later

No clue why he didn't get a penalty there, another SR Down for me.

Thus back to 'normal' racing

SR Down nr 3, why not.

This guy punted me off in the sharp left coming up next, finally no SR Down for me, also no penalty for him. I guess he didn't punt hard enough.

Oh well, no more driving with that mill stone around my neck, plus what do you get for driving bad (red S for that race)

An easy win with 8 second lead...

Back to 1, which was already broken again next race by a Corvette spinning out in front of me, knocking me off the track from 2nd to 8th. When it rains, it pours. I'm at 20K DR, starting top 5, it's Saturday, dirty hour, things are going as expected. I doubt I'll ever get close again, way too stressful racing like that with the current penalty system.

Came back today after a few months off the game. 6 races, most of them really clean and even managed to win one of them. I forgot how good this game can be when people race cleanly. One of my favourite days in this game.

I’ve done a few race B’s tonight in the Masters Porsche, @Sven Jurgens has been in them all. All have been good clean racing so far, it’s been a lot of fun. Had a good battle going with Sven in the last one for a minute there until I was gifted this 2 second penalty, watch the radar.



Starting 2nd in the next race, No Mr Jurgens in this one, rooms getting slower already.

Said i'd do my last Race C this weekend, before Supercars Qualifying. SHould have passed. Started 5th. Got the knuckleheads bowling for positions at T1. Must have bowled a spare because they weren't done at the right hand hairpin at the middle of the circuit.

Down in 11th or 12th. Climbed back up alone with some fastest laps. caught up to the leading 6. Passed 6th place and pulled away. Stayed behind 5th until the last lap final turn. Finished 6th, 0.005 seconds behind.

I see you, one car in between us. He's slow in the middle section, brakes early for the hairpin. He got me in trouble last race. He should stay behind you anyway. Good luck. (If I end up next to the track in lap 3, it's the cookie!)

Damn, that guy deliberately bumped you then took a shortcut to give you a 4 sec penalty. That was clear as night and day from my pov. For a moment I thought you were going to punt him before the penalty zone

My lap time was already one second slower, time to quit. I managed to escape the mess in that one. Good luck and watch out for that guy. He has bump passed me in multiple races.

Thanks, you too. We’ve been close all night, it’s been fun. He certainly did the bugger, I had a good race going until then. Indie mess up but he pulled a dirty one when he didn’t even have to, he was getting around anyways. Oh wel, I’m down to 82 SR somehow though after that race, the one before I started and finished second with FL and CRB? I dunno



Don’t quit now, I’m on RedBull #3!! I’m in on the next race, if I see that guy he’s getting it!

I suggest watching a few episodes of Cosmos, a Spacetime Oddysey. Particularly the episode where they zoom out to the edge of the universe, it makes you feel minuscule when you’re stone cold sober.

Edit: Just got to have a race with @Rexracer702 , always a pleasure man. How did your race go? I saw that you finished just behind me.

Mine was going well until this happened, I’m getting killed by penalties tonight and I’m not even really being aggressive.


I gotta do better at avoiding people thru the chicanes at the end, that’s twice now.

Edit 2: Started on Pole in the next race, the guy behind stayednpretty close for the first two laps but fell back a bit over the last two laps to around 3 seconds back and I got my first Dub in the Masters Porsche. Not sure why I lost my CRB though, I had no contract and no penalties in this one.

It looked like it got kinda messy back there, glad I wasn’t part of it.

Edit 3: Started and finished 3rd in the next race, it was a good race, I kept up with the two leaders for the first 2 laps but then fell back a bit. Finished 3rd but got 2nd in the end due to losing the winner before results were finalized lol. I’ll take it.

Started on pole and didn’t look back in this one, 3 Star Dub to cap off the night. This was a really fun night of racing.

Good triple star run yo. I was up to 7th or 6th on the first lap, sanded it on the 2nd lap. Woulda had my usual 10th-11th but lost grip last lap. Didn't think I hit grass but might've. Oh well. Gettin miles.

Edit: Good thing it still counted my Qlap I finished as matching was going. I beat my previous by almost .8 seconds
