It's been 20 years so far, and people are still buying into the PD way...We'll see how funny it is when people start losing interest in their product.

That's fantastic. However, players can use their lack of reasoning to not participate. We'll see how funny it is when people start losing interest in their product.
Side note: Hey @Pigems remember when we were talking about going way up high on the final turn at Fuji? I just finished second there, and the first place guy said to me afterwards "ever heard of track limits". Well, every time I went up there, I gained time on the guy in front of me and the guy behind me. I feel like if the game will allow it, and it's faster, why not use it.
PD doesn't have to have a reason![]()

Penalties are the track limits.Track limits trigger me.
The next events will be the fifth after our interview (and the first was literally the next day), and a single month after that interview.Indeed. But as I said earlier, if I cared about someones feedback telling me my customers were sick of something that can be fixed easily, I wouldn't be serving up the same thing they said they were sick of months later.
Few games companies and publishers release sales figures now (also is that sales or sold-through?), as it's all about player numbers these days. But not enough that PD still release their sales figures.

If we assume they're planned up to eight weeks in advance (which they used to be), we won't likely see a change in tack, if there is one, until the end of the second month - so early to mid-May.
I don't see the need to get worked up about it until then. We told Yamauchi about the player concern, he said he'd pass the feedback on and possibly look at increased staffing in that department too.

I improved my best lap time to 1:47.094, so close to a 1:46. I'm back to DR.B, not starting on pole anymore (last race), a solid second place it is. I stayed within range of the leader and his best lap was only 0.060 faster, just enough to stay ahead. Back to 13.2K DR, and now at 90 clean races. Enough for today. Clean Friday delivered again!
@Pigems got to witness first hand as my Top 5 streak in Daily Race C came to an end with... A 6th. Got beat by the same guy that stole my 2nd from the race before. Good races both, though.
Yeah the next one was... Well... I lost my cool and Im SR A now...Good race man! There’s been some good rooms tonight so far, I wasn’t sure if you knew it was me or not. I wanted to keep up with Turismo_Del so badly in that one!! But I pushed too hard and made mistakes, I had a good battle with that guy for 3rd place for a couple laps but another mistake put me back to 4th we’re I finished, it was a fun race though.
I skipped the next one but I’ll be back for the one after that. Nice to see you out on the track man, hope to race with you again soon.![]()
GT World Community: "S660? Beat? Copen? '65 MINI? Alfa MiTo? I know.. Porsche 356!"But hey it isn't like we had N100 at Tsukuba Circuit in the last month or anything.
Yeah the next one was... Well... I lost my cool and Im SR A now...
Got bumped into the lower lobbies and got my very first win! Hell yeah.
Nnnnnnno... You did read the interview, right?Extra staffing to select a list of races?![]()
“The settings for the Daily Races are done by the Operations Team within Polyphony Digital,” explains Yamauchi. “They are the ones that come up with the events, so I will give that feedback to them!”
It’s not their only role however. “The guys that are actually working behind the screens of the operations side of this event are actually people from the operations team,” continues Yamauchi, “and they are also the ones that are thinking up the race combos for the competitions as well. I think their work load is maybe overflowing, so maybe we need to increase our capacity on that team!”
Is it? All we know is that it doesn't appear - from our point of view - like there's been that much of a change yet. There may be logistical reasons for it that we're simply unaware of. It's a bit early to start jumping to conclusions about who cares how much about what. It's about urgency. He could order that a change gets forced through to be implemented a week after being told, but it's evident he does not find it to be a priority. I would argue that it should be.
