I survived 7:10 Tokyo, although I did get a penalty from a laggy South American. It was a mess. SR still at 99, I didn't see either @Pigems or @sturk0167.

Next Tokyo race loading. Same people.

SR 97 now after getting rammed into the wall twice, once since I had to brake extra for swerving ghosts.

Finished dfl at Tokyo. Discouraged. This week's races :censored:ing suck! Watching a movie. I'll do race A later. It's the only one I'm competent at. Sorry

No worries man, I agree, this week sucks. I'm heading back to Suzuka, Tokyo just makes me angry with the nonsense penalties and Tsukaba makes me dizzy lol. Suzuka is going to be my most raced track at this rate and it's not even on my top 10 favorites. Well maybe in the limited selection of GTS, still near the bottom.

(I finally figured out what dfl stands for, I think :lol: I did the same thing last race, not counting the A+ that hang back to get 15 clean races, on Tokyo :banghead:)

Doh, I'm in this one, have to skip next one. Perhaps see you in the 9:30

It was a good race. Very close tight pack until it finally sorted itself out in lap 8. Fun race. I made it to 6th, no penalties this time.

The race before had this...

Car loses control, hits two cars, we (the cars that got hit) both get a penalty :confused:
I only got 1 sec there, yet that's almost 3 sec lost with the Suzuka GR.2 penalty zone :banghead:

So bored of Snoorzuka, goodluck @Pigems. I'll check if you're there in the 9:30 line-up, else I'll back out and watch STD instead :)

That’s better! Started 7th and had a 4 way battle going for the first couple laps with a few positions changes. Then I had a good 5/6 lap battle with Pro-105 I think it was, he was ahead at first but after a few laps I found a spot and got around him to get up into 4th. I held him off for the last couple laps and then 3rd spun out exiting spoon on lap 10, I felt bad for him, he had run a good race. But I ended up with a 3rd place finish in race 1. :)

Edit: Didn’t even make it through the first lap on the next race. 5th to last in one lap flat. I don’t quit very often, but I went off so many times in the first lap that it wasn’t worth continuing. :lol:

That’s better! Started 7th and had a 4 way battle going for the first couple laps with a few positions changes. Ah, I saw you briefly. I made it to 6th again that race, seems to be my spot tonight.
I met some true sportmanship in that race. I came out ahead after the hairpin, I was on the left, the car behind me had a nose next to my bumper and pushed me out. Accidentally, since he slowed down right after to give the position back before spoon. No need for a penalty system when people are as clean as that.

Great job on that race before!! 3rd seems so far away.

I had another good run this time without going off-roading. VRP_Bombadero and I were in range all race, though he stretched it out a bit at times. It was a fun race. :)

Haha, did you get too close to the Argentinian. He's been cursing Canadians all night, long before you came on.

Sharpshooter behaved. He ended up behind me in the last lap, I guess he didn't want to risk a last minute penalty.
I got a 1.5 sec shortcut penalty. My hand was forced, car behind me pushing, car in front unsteady and slow. I took to the grass to avoid getting sandwiched. Then got bumped off in the chicane lol. It was a fun race, close racing for the most time.

Good race, well done!

Awesome! Glad you had a good race and he didn’t give you any grief. I skipped the next one for a lefty and some hot laps. Gonna start the 23:00 race from the back. You done for the night?

Yeah, I'm going to unwind with some Orville. I've seen enough Suzuka today. Tomorrow evening again, easter dinner first so 9ish I guess.
Good luck at 11. It should get a bit slower by then, lots of positions to take!

Still have yet to see any of you guys in a daily race. Probably not high enough DR on my part?

The G29 is making some sort of clicking and turning slow when plugged in. I guess I might be forced to upgrade. Darn!

If you are DR.B with max SR you should be seeing us. Although 20K+ might be needed for prime time.
 
Sigh. Two bad races.

First race, I started last. I gained a position or two. Some dude behind me keeps braking late and hitting me off track at least twice. I lost a lot of ground. I hung in there after being at least a minute behind. Finished gaining 3 positions (2 people lagged out)

Second race, the start was glitched from like P10 down (I was P18 of 19). I knew there was gonna be trouble at the chicane at go. I see at least 5 cars trying to fit in that small space. Two didn’t make it.

Later that race, I caught up to a laggy racer. I couldn’t tell where he was at until I hit him somewhere, somehow. I wish people with crap connections stop playing this game. When he was behind me, it was like a fly going across my rear view mirror. Annoying, lol.

I managed to finish gaining 6 positions. Due to that glitch, there was no catching up to the others.

Yeah I’m maxed on SR but my DR is almost E... I just started online the other day.

Thanks man! I got that time after less laps then I’d normally spend to get a top 50 time, but I’ve raced this combo a lot and know the lines pretty well. I only had time for 4 races earlier but they were fun and clean. Got my 150th win, two P2’s and one P3. Hopefully I’ll be back for more tomorrow, but I’ll also be spending a bit of time practicing for Saturday’s FIA races. Hope to see you and other GTP guys out there soon

Nice job on the races. That would definitely help to know this combo better, this car is a handful to drive. I still probably wouldn’t make it through a race without TCS in this car, but I’m working on it. :) Hope to see you out there tomorrow. :cheers:



I made it up to 9th in that one, got stuck behind people a couple times. Good clean race though. Props to @NosOsH for the podium finish, well done man! :cheers:

Long video. Suzuka's been good to me. Got DR A last time on SF, got it again now with Gr.2.
The race itself is nothing too crazy. Some good and steady driving. I was P2 and had a teammate on P3. He basically ran behind me all race as we pulled ahead from 4th. 1st place was out the the question the minute we saw his quali time on .46.9

Highlights from that race.:
At 10:45, probably one of the cleanest overtakes I've done in the game. It helped the guy in front had no tyres and didn't fight it too much.
16:05: LOL. Just LOL. Luckily we had some breathing room. What you see here is my week in a nutshell. There's always a misake.
Still, I was happy with my pace and got DR.A. Gonna leave this account alone until FIA Suzuka race and play on my alt.
 
Wow. This thread is moving fast. Haven't had a lot of race time this week. Ran about10 laps in A to set a time Monday, did about 20 laps in B to do the same. Actually got 6 races on C in. 3 ladt night and 3 tonight. Using my alt account and racing from the back. Actually started P20 twice, finished 8th in both. Best finish was a 4th. Had 3rd in my sights on L8, less than 2 seconds back, and gaining, and I put my outside wheels over the curb coming out of T1 on L9, so that was that. Only lost about 6 seconds, but he held the gap pretty steady till the end.
I want to get into the 48's in C, and I think I will, but I won't get enough time to get very deep into the 48's. Not counting the 6 races, I've only done about 40 laps of practice. I need another 100 to get near a time I can call my best. I'm at about 49.5 now, and my optimal for that stint (5 laps) was a 49.1. I figure with a bunch of laps I can get to mid 48's...with a little luck. Might see you tomorrow night in C. I hope to be racing after 7 EST.
