After putting me in 5th one race, match making put me in last the next with the same qualifying time. I guess it wants to keep things varied.

Good races. First let me congratulate a true sportsman. I was on his tail for at least a lap, studying his driving, waiting for the best moment to pass. It wasn't necessary, he let me pass in a safe place. Thanks Stealthartist.

Last 50 seconds.

I usually do the same if the person behind me lets me pick the place. When you start bumping me in the apex repeatedly, tough luck. Or in the next case, I passed this car earlier yet he clung on by drafting. I took the corner crappy which gave him a chance to put his nose on my rear left by taking it even wider. Visioning myself ending up in the grass I took a rather aggressive defensive line. Too much?

At least it got him out of my draft and I quickly increased the gap on him.

The pit was misbehaving again. Nurb and Bathurst tend to close the pit door on me when someone screws up.

I dropped back to last, made it to 15th in the end. Tough room, qualified for last place.

Another plea not to slow down before the finish to burn off penalties. Yesterday I lost my clean streak again because of this.

Not to focus on the negative, here's a completely clean respectful race on Kyoto from last night.

The Impreza race was carnage, terrible idea of myself to even try it...

Saw @_ApexPredator tho, I think I also rearended him when he was sent in the gravel...

Played Race B and saw someone climb in the standings by cutting people off and divebombing them. He caused a bunch of wrecks. He ended up finishing 3rd. Everyone else was trying to drive clean from the looks of it, but I caught myself asking the question: “Is no one going to take his ass out?”

I’m amazed that people are willing to let this nonsense happen to them.

Hah, yeah it proved difficult to stay out of everyone's way in race B!

I lost some SR, so decided to finally take the plunge and try one of the FIA races in an attempt to recuperate and I don't know why I'd been so apprehensive about trying them, thoroughly enjoyed it!
Managed to qualify in p2 and snatched p1 just before the end of the first stint around the outside at Kyoto's fast left hander - great, clean race!

Raced B again. Similar issue, but with a griefer. Did as much damage as he could. Wrecked lots of cars, so I took it upon myself to take him out. This is where getting too concerned with your SR hurts. People just let this happen, which results in the race being ruined for a lot of people.

Impossible, managed to somehow get from the back of the field to P4-7 twice but was then punted back to last :banghead: Goodbye SR99-streak.
Doing race C at 2am isn‘t a good idea either, I was way to slow but at least didn‘t made any big mistakes, got back to SR99 and even got some DR points back 👍

Seems fuel management is a bit tricky now after 1.12, even when I have 5.9 laps of fuel left just entering 5th lap, I still ran out of fuel 100ft from finish line on the Nurb GP race C, luckily i fell from 2nd to 3rd crossing the line. I'm seeing some drivers pit on the semi last lap or so (making 2 stops in the race).

I also ran out of fuel on Tokyo East last week as well.

Lovely races today, I’m going to a beer festival at lunchtime though so may have to squeeze in a few races now then try again tonight after the alcohol wears off

Going to try luck at Brands Hatch:

Here is a little part of the Miata race yesterday. To show that slow cars can be really fun. Nice to see #1-3 together all in red. And #4-6 also drive in pairs. Just love those “slow cars” in GT sport !

Of course not all the time, but thats what I love about the distinctive races. All classes. All fun.

Alls changed, used to pit on end of 4th (on 10lap race) now pit on 5th or 6th. Cant get a full tank going in early.

This is exactly what I did/thought this week. Two things will happen. Most of the guys here are saying that I shouldn't and my SR is dropping harder then snoop dog can sing.

The end result is that you will end up in lower leveled drivers, with all consequences..

Had some good races tonight at Brand's in my Earnhardt Sr. Edition Vantage. First race got run down and passed for 1st on last lap, then pole and a win, then I have pole for next race and get disconnected :banghead:, and finally had a great time swapping the lead with another Aston before he ran off and left me. This was my reward for some messed up Subaru races that dropped me from A/S to A/A. Gotta love the system. :)

I did notice did as well. It seems to me that the laps are calculated on the last FM of the last lap. So if you have your FM on 3 the laps calculated cannot be done on FM1. This is just a thought though :)

I think its easier to raise sr that it is to fall, if you dont give in to argy bargy.

Brands hatch absolutely riddled this morning eurghhh

Just ran into TRZ-Beni lapping 1:31.1s in the race =O crazy fast

Judging by your video posted the other day, I would concentrate on improving your own driving and racing skills before criticising others. That race was terrible driving from all involved, and could've been avoided.

Bwoooaahh, this sounds tough for pad users :scared:

Not only for pad users i think. I tried to set a good quali lap, but Gr.1 on a Track like Suzuka is way to fast for me and my G29. Cant imagine whats going on in the Race.

Did the one make and Gr4 races tonight. BB was pretty clean. The Gr4 race had a lot of carnage but they somehow managed to get back onto the circuit quickly. Lost points for BB but gained them on the Gr4. I had one off due to a mistake, and another from being rammed.

I did some laps of Suzuka pre-qualifying. Tried the Bugatti. Felt too much like a car and less like a prototype. Took the "Oh what a feeling" Toyota for a spin. Better, but I just wasn't feeling it. The circuit felt too narrow for Gr1. It's not, but at my level with a full grid I just picture carnage. :dunce:

Carnage!? :scared::lol:

Now, one race on Suzuka later, i have to say it wasn't that bad.

Started 3rd and finished 3rd. Spun 3 times but the 4th place was way behind so i holded my place everytime.

Race A mostly went without incident.

I did brands hatch earlier from what I saw laps 1&4 absolute carnage, 2&3 ok

The attitude here is that you shouldn’t because it makes you no better than the offenders. And that’s fine. But it’s maddening to watch people take it while no consequences are doled out to the primary offender aside from some scrubbable penalties. There’s no system in place to truly punish that sort of behavior, so griefers can really get away with a lot.

He was lagging like crazy @ Nurb GR3 last night, hoofed me and another guy from between T1 and T2 to the barrier @ T3...

Why oh why do so many A/S level driver find it so difficult to comprehend that after you've overtaken / pulled away from then, if the next driver infront of you is in a battle with other cars (and they're often side by side in the corner), you're going to slow down a bit - does the guy behind you 💡 ??

Of course not, he just takes the corner at the same speed which then hoofs you off. The amount of people with A/S level ratings who have no patience or racecraft just bewilders me

To top it off S/S level guy pit maneuvers me coming out of hairpin on long right hander (GR1 @ Suzuka), even though he'd missed more apex's then hit (on penultimate lap), I'm as far right as I can go (right hand wheels on right side edge of track), I'm 3/4s past him when he decides to swerve to the right :irked:. To top it off, I get the penalty!?!?!?

Luckily, next race I get my best finish @ A/S level (3rd), keep my 100% SR rating and go to my highest driver points ever 41k...

Karma, I love you
