Definitely saw you now. I just started behind you, then a car spawned in between us, then I got punted in the U-turn :/ The guy that punted me bump passed me again and then I was stuck behind him, until disconnected grrr. Second time today. Stupid server. I was 29194 DR at the start of the race, I wonder how much this disconnect is going to cost again.
-1313 DR, the game is mocking me.

Edit: That's better, 1051 back in the race we had just now. 2 more races to go before it's all done again.

Ugh. Just a mess in that last race. Spun on lap one right in front of you then was the pinball in the back. Disconnect to finish out the race...wonderful

Edit: ouch... Lost 1500DR on that one
 
Race A - One Make Mazda Roadster race at Suzuka East for 6laps
Race B - Dragon trail seaside with Group 3 for 4laps
Race C - Monza with Group 4 (x7fuel and x8 tire wear) 9laps

I've done four races at Suzuka so far. It's been a lot of fun and very clean to my surprise. Starting to learn the Gr1s real well!
Race #: Start to finish

Race 1: 16th to 6th.
Race 2: 16th to 9th.
Race 3: 4th to 4th.

I think mot people are used to suzuka. So less mistakes. My results are a really similar.

Though today I received a 9 sec P because someone lost control on the green, under the bridge coming into a crowded sharp left, punted me into another (and a few others), put me from 3rd to 12th. I reviewed the replay, it wasn't on purpose these things happen.

Don't know if exaggerating or serious...

Driving my 919 around Suzuka is hard. You have to be very careful not to go off track, as there are some extremely fast corners and extremely slow ones. The slow corners are dangerous because you cannot accelerate AT ALL until you've exited them. Even then you still have to be careful, as I spun out on corner exits. The Porsche is very quick but horrible in the slow corners due to it's tendency to understeer. A proper challenge.

Perfectly serious - it's happened to me once before, when I got rammed into the barriers at Kyoto Yamagiwa.....

only did the gr4 brands hatch race, all terrible, some races even got to second place, then made a mistake and lost like a dozen positions, and had to recover, dunno if its cuz of the pressure or somethin, its was mostly on the easiest corners too

got some good laughs tho, one race i was in 5th and the guy in front of me spun on last corner and ended up entering the pits lol he must have been so pissed

Just bad luck , you passed the white care while the flag was up for the other, ghosted car. You had no choice though.

I slowed down really frequent but still 2s left till the end. Crazy
 
this yellow flag system is just here to piss people off , punishing them for passing guys that cannot keep it on the track ....i know this is meant to be realistic racing this way but lets not forget this is also a videogame !

The intent is to punish you if you pass someone who isn't involved in the accident, but who is forced to take avoiding action. It does not however work properly, that I agree.

That pass is completely fine. Any intelligent player would have covered the inside so that your only chance of passing was to ram him, or pull off the cut-back of the century.

I know this well. But when encounter it during a race. Can’t be not frustrated.
 
the amount of rage quit is insane lately as far as i'm concern , really good drivers that cant take a mistake or an accident , rage quit right away without even trying to recover
 
Starting from pole at Suzuka seems to be more of a punishment than anything else. The car is so easy to drive that driver skill can't be used to make a difference, being the first in line means no draft advantage and and the punters are having a field day.

I can't recall anyone in my races suddenly disappearing, but I'm sure it happens. Even if I get punted and end up 18s behind at the back of the field, I always finish the race. Guess I just have an endurance mentality ;).

Now if they would only have a one make 10 lap or more daily of the 24H Nurburgring with the cart......yeh:idea:!

I guess the game has given him the number 1 as his race number.
I've been led to believe that this number is down to the amount of DR / SR points you have against the other players in the race.

I'm not convinced that's accurate. I did tonight's one make Suzuka and there were two DR/Bs at the top of the grid. All SR/Ss, and I qualified 10th. I finished 9th and lost DR points. The number I was given was 1. I'm DR/D.

It was optimistic. He wasn't holding the inside as he overtook and was always gonna force/squeeze the other racer on exit because of his entry speed.

Not dirty, but not a text book move either. I wouldn't have gone for that overtake from where the 458 was. He was lucky the BMW was compliant imo.
