Shut your eyes and count to 10... maybe they will go away :P:tup:

On the radar they look like incoming missiles and certain death haha  Great pic!

Haha Pretty much eh, I had no clue what to do. I stayed outside but still got smoked haha. It was just a fun race though so no harm done. :)

That’s exactly what I needed! :D

Edit: I should have hit pause and ghosted out for a second or two!! I’ll try that next time. :)

Never gonna get good that way Player! At this point what do you have to lose?
Bingo! The best way to improve is by spending the majority of your practice time working on the weakest parts of your driving. Eventually you’ll turn those weaknesses into strengths. :)

I've got the same issues as some of the other players at my level. They qualify with times good enough for the middle of the grid. Let the wrecking balls begin. The troubles of being B or C SR. I've got my house in order, but others don't.

Here’s one for everyone. This dude didn’t think I was clean on an overtake. Before this, he messed up T1 and drove downhill in the S out of bounds and hits me coming out. He wasn’t a ghost.

Personally, I think it was legit. Maybe not clean, but some minor rubbing is permitted. Plus, from my point of view, you were able to outbrake him. That's not a divebomb to me.

Pray for them to use the brakes. :D

So funny thing happened.

Disconnected from network for Race B. Had time so did a lap of Nurburgring in the AMG. Went into the Race B again but choose AMG again instead of RC F mistakenly.

And guess what, started pole with 1:32:48 which is what i set with RC F :P Having no experience with this car on Interlagos i thought its a goner here but it turned out this way

I’ve committed to using the R92CP on Race C. My quali is a 3:21.4 which is good enough to usually start me above P3 on the grid.

After a few practice races it seems that the best method is to burn fuel hard on lap 1 to make up the deficit with the Hybrids that pull away early in the lap. Once they are caught, between short shifting, and throwing the fuel map to 3 or 6 strategically, I can usually go back to a full throttle burn the entire last lap.

You will have to deal with contestant ramming from behind leaving the hard braking zones because apparently the blistering acceleration from the Hybrids makes drivers forget how to avoid rear ending a car that’s also accelerating in front of them.

If you can manage to be in front of them before the Porsche curves then you generally will be able to keep them behind you or be close enough to attach again down the Mulsanne.

I won the last race running a 17:21 for total time and a 3:24 for my FL. There’s a few more seconds to squeeze out in a perfect run.

It may not be the META but what a fun way to tackle Race C.

LOL some newb just reported me for "cheating" because I didn't take a pit stop in Race C, which does not require a pit stop.

As far as I can see reports all just go into a big black hole, some log or email account that no one ever checks anyway. Has anyone ever had communication from PD regarding a report? I doubt it. I gave up reporting people ages ago.

Not that I know off. I reported a lot too but stopped.

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Another driver got hit in T1 into the wall. He drives downhill in the S and hits me... :banghead:

Video with voice coming soon. My include bad language.

Mission complete! With a (mostly) clean race A, going 7th to 5th, I'm finally back to SR S.

Now I can go lobby racing without being that sketchy guy that somehow always leaves you room...

Panic!!!!!!!

Sacrifice a horse to Oðin?

You put your faith in Odin and Thor, we put ours in cannon and whores. Your Viking gods won't save you now, as the pirates strike from the starboard bow! :sly:

I'd report you too! But then again, anyone who finishes in front of me clearly *must* be cheating! :P

I would quote my favourite Alestorm lyrics. But, mods would hit them faster than my python hit her last meal

Heeeyyy that's me in the Toyota!!! Nice pic and good races!!

This shows I don't have the pace to be A rated. Still, I'm happy enough towards the higher end of B. I'm under no delusion of grandeur about my ability. Over one lap I can keep up, 95% of the time. But they/you can do it more consistently.

Mixed A/B grids. Started 14th, and 15th, respectively.

DR has slumped a few hundred points. But, still above 26k for now.

Just did some lobby testing for tomorrow’s race C, I’m assuming it’s gonna be the new RedBull car. The fuel can be stretched for 13 laps by shifting at about half bar the whole way on FM1 with a few shorter shifts mixed in here or there.

But the tires! The Soft tires are toast after one spin out, literally as you’re spinning out you can glance at the tire meter and see if falling as you spin lol. They will not last 13 laps. Best best seems to be to baby the first set as long as you can, 7/8 laps while saving as much fuel as possible. Then grab a fresh set and enough fuel to go full bore to the end of you haven’t saved enough to do so. The last stint is gonna be a sprint I think.

Race laps were in the 26’s with fuel and tire wear on. :)

Yep! That's me :D. I'm a decent DR/B, and I'm in that same boat lol. I just try to be quick while displaying good racecraft, and while staying out of everyone's way (if that makes any sense). I just don't want to be THAT guy, and ruin someone else's race because of my 🤬 up.

If you get a run on me AND you're in my draft  I'll hit the hazards and hold it steady to let you decide which side you wanna pass on. But, don't get it twisted, I'm still gonna try to out drive you  (cleanly of course ). You make the pass and get a gap? I figure "they gone" lol.

I'm sure you would've felt much better about it if you knew that at least one of those cars had never driven the track before and had absolutely no idea where to brake!

No worries there, I wasn’t even sure where to break myself.

It was great to get to race with you, thanks for coming out.

We actually ended up with a really fast crowd last night, it was a lot of fun. :)

It was nice to race against you all, fun to try some different combo's out too, normally if I saw Miata's at Tsukuba I would avoid it like the plague but the races were great.

Yeah man, that second Miata race was super tight right to the end. You don’t need 500hp+ to have fun, slow cars can be fun too! ;)
