Tried race C for the first this morning and a wild alien(Turismo-Lester) appears...! He gets murdered on the first turn but comes flying by on to second lap to take third in his X2019 UFO(eventually winning with 2nd 40secs behind). 8th to 4th for me with players ahead bottling their cars. Seems like soft-soft is the winning strat.
 
Got the RedBull car down to a 25.3 with TCS on 2, this thing is wild without it, but it’s definitely losing me time on exits and the really fast left on at the end. It’s a start though. :)

 
Got back into GT with GTSport, and glad to see the X2019 as it's one of my faves. The track is a nice and flowing one too.

Is it just me or is it tuned down from its GT5-6 counterparts? Seems to understeer more and has less power. Still a beast car regardless.

I think soft-soft is the definitive strat. I'm unsure what lean: power ratio to go with but I've done 3 prior to pit and 1 after pit and it seems to work.

Best time of 1:28.1xx has nabbed me a #2 spot in one race so far. I think I can do 1:27 for sure but 1:26 may be best left to aliens and such.

It doesn't have GT5 and GT6 counterparts, it's completely new to the game :D

Willow Springs is in Southern California. But there are a few more U.S. tracks that should be in the game. The one I want the most is Laguna Seca.

And the toyota GT1!! I remember taking that car down through the corkscrew turn so many time in GT5 was it? I love that track!! :)
 
Well, Race C in my case is out as I have not save up enough fake cash, It will be clios v6 and GR3 for me until I get enough fake cash to get the red Bull car unless I get it on the daily workout wheel

There’s a few offline races that can net you around 375k in 12 minutes or less. 3m only take a little over an hour or so. :)

Can you post your setup for max BMB earnings? As you know I have godlike racing skill but unable to find a car/setup that works for me and gets dat full bonus. I can tune suspension sorta well but diff and gearing I'm hopeless.

try as i might to find one in the how to make money superthread I can't find any posts with actual setups that work for me on the current update. Feel like itd be relevant to post here, a lot of us seem to need the car

Yeah man, I’ve been using the Mazda RX500, stiffen the suspension a few clicks and lower it all the way, tune the tranny to sequential gears and make sure it doesn’t bounce of the rev limiter in top gear when drafting. You need to get the CRB and do the race with you car at N300 I believe. I’ll find the link to all the info for you though.

Second race C of the day. Started in 4th. A few bumps in the first corners but I managed to survive that. On the next tight left hander the car in front messes up ... I brake to avoid hitting him .... Get hit in the back .... Apparently this is worth 4 sec. penalty :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Finished in 10th after serving the penalty and making my way from the back with a couple of passes along the way.

This game can be so much fun but soooooo frustrating at the same time ! :dunce:

Thanks man, think I sold my RX500 but ill only need one gr1 at tokyo to get it back, probably worth the investment. Use that as my main moneymaker but... You know, sometimes i don't wanna turn right.

Been running the Clio @ Goodwood qualifier laps and got down to 1'28.0 fairly quick..



I rerun after this and went a bit too wide after the chicane and went off but made .3 down to 1'27.7... will have to clean that one up a tad :p:tup:

Just managed a good run too but i'm shocked that the fastest worldwide lap is 26.5! It doesn't add up, even the usual road car aliens like TRL_holl01, TRL_Adam18 and Sirvia are a second behind, wondering if there's a secret or some kind of cutting involved

That’s interesting, a full second at the top end is very unusual.
