At the very least, if your car is at full throttle with 0 brakes being applied at the time, it’s pretty hard to brake someone under those conditions.
It's really not that simple - that rule could be circumvented by suddenly braking hard and then, milliseconds before impact, stop braking and apply full throttle.

Have to say I haven't had a bad race on Fuji this week. Been very lucky with good match ups.

Last race was particularly good. Started 5th. Down to last, twice. Finished 4th. Could have easily finished last. 2nd place to 11th was down to the last lap. So close.

Pole position missed T1. And when I noticed them behind me, I figured I'd follow them to keep up a good pace. And sure enough they finished 3rd and I was right behind. Was a great plan. 👍

Was it uncletentwenty3? I followed him a bunch yesterday. He has a really good Q time, but he was struggling with turn 1 and Dunlop corner.

Just wish I could improve at qualifying. Been doing race B for the last few days and haven’t started higher than 13th yet I haven’t finished lower than 8th! Biggest jump being 9 places!

Yes. And @BenRod took 1st.

Maybe check out a lap guide? Helps me.

Yeah, well those dudes are gonna have their hands full when I get back from the grocery store, and finish my vacuuming.

Hey check this out. I know most of you guys don't have access to the Asian server, but I do. So, I downloaded the world's fastest Fuji lap. 2:01.690!
I lowered my time after watching it a couple of times. Hopefully it's helpful to others, as well. 👍
Notice that he uses plenty of brakes, and doesn't slide his car around the corners.

I have to go golfing (poor me). Don't you (guys) dare improve your Race A QT. :grumpy:

Next week!

Race A: N100 one-make @ Maggiore Center, 6 laps, SM
Race B: Gr.3 @ RBR, 5 laps, RH
Race C: Gr.4 @ Tokyo East Outer, 7 laps, RH, 3x fuel 17x (:scared:) tires

RBR with no rain? That’s interesting. I was just thinking the other day though that it’s been a while since the last LMC race, I never thought I’d say that.

Those look pretty good.
A has been done many, many times.
I really hope B is wet weather. :) If the track is dry, I'll stick with A & C.
C is a Huracan race. Super fun, but SR killer.

My official schedule:
A) Nope
B) I hope it's not rain. But I'll try one race even if it is wet.
C) Definitely not. A 17x wear multiplier? And I thought the 13x for this week's race C was murder.

A rainy daily race B? Break out those backup accounts, it's gonna be a puntfest.

So, if the track has rain, no qualifying & pick up all of your positions at turn one. Got it!

I don't think it will go quite that well. Those cars were all-wheel drive. If there's rain, they'll probably go with the evening race, which is light rain. Gr.3 cars have a lot of torque, and may need lots of TCS.

For practice, drive a fully upgraded power/lowest weight Charger Hellcat (on any tires). When I did that on dry pavement, I had to turn TC all the way up to 4. That thing is a washing machine at full power. It's always on the spin cycle.

Sticking to this week, I've still been plugging away trying to drop my Q times for race B. I got a potential best time in the Ford GT of 1:22.466....on TC setting 3! :dunce: I dropped it down to 2, set the BB to -1, & set a new best for the week, 1:22.412 (possible best of 1:22.337).

Same here. First race was a warm up as i only just sat down and had zero time to even adjust my seating before the race started. Coulda been worse though. That second race was much better cept i blew lap 4. Sorry for the two love taps, at least they didn't seem to cost you much...

My fault on the first one. I down-shifted when I didn't mean too. Sorry
That Brazilian guy is legit. I don't think I've ever beat him.
