Last night on Suzuka, I tried the Genesis and RC F. Qualified 5th, but I pit in both races. Thought I would have got the hint, when I didn't need to change tyres.

The Genesis drives nice, but sounds high strung. Where as the RC F is so smooth. Smoother than my favorite Atenza.

Sorry, but what car is the RC ?

Hey guys how did this happen. Was sitting around 32000dr. Had apretty bad race at suzuka finishing 12 thanks to getting ran off track psss. After the race i was sitting at 50000dr points. Wtf. Not complainig tho lol

As above

Good Lord, lots of a-holes in Race B just now. Had to report a bunch of people for making repeated deliberate contact with myself and other drivers. In particular, someone in a Peugeot kept hitting me from behind.

Love to see the replay !
Finally had time to upload to youtube.
Again, no fender to fender, a few moments of slowing to ensure I cleared wrecking cars, got by the pole sitter who made a mistake, crashed... took too much fuel, pole sitter came out of pit too close for comfort, saved tires while the pole sitter closed the gap to me, then with good tires put 2 tenths on him in the last lap... after he'd closed almost 5seconds over the previous 4 laps.

Just realized I had every driver aide known to man, and some make-believe ones on as well...
Guess those are left overs from Blue Money Bay farming $$ to buy the Jag XJ13.

I see the Peugeot VGR Gr. 3 is the car of choice for trolls in today’s Race B...

(No offense to the legit drivers that have used that car today.)

Nobody talking about race A with the Mustang Mach 1 at Mount Panorama?
Having read some posts on the last pages, there seem to be a lot of people who don't really like the Mustang's handling which I don't understand.
I gave it a try and I was surprised how fun this car is and how good the handling is! The gear ratios are good, the suspension is also good, surprisingly the brakes are really strong and steering response is much better and more direct than one would think of a big muscle car from the 70's
I managed to achieve a qualifying laptime under the 2:31.000 barrier and secured a place in the world top 5 according to jasonguernsey.net. (tc: 0 ; brake bias: -5)
Also managed to get a new clean race record (5). Did 9 races in total: 9 polepositions, 9 fastest laps and 9 wins. A good day to boost my statistics :dopey:
@ROCKET JOE it was really nice racing with you

I netted my 4th win yesterday at Streets of Big Willow. I didn’t like the race from Friday, but yesterday and today’s races were pretty nice for the Mach 1.

I tried the daily A in the Mustang. Jeez, I feel like I should get out and push to get that thing up to speed. I'm not doing bad with it, yet it's just too slow for my liking. After 3 races I was bored.

GR.3 on Tokyo pinball. Even though I'm starting in the top 3, people just can't find the brakes. T1 is always a mess. If you're lucky then you escape the carnage with 1 or 2 other drivers, if not, join the red ratings. In the last race, even though I never saw an SR down on screen, still red S after the race from all the ramming from behind and getting bumped into the walls. Why brake or if the car in front of you serves the same purpose... Tokyo should have the penalties cranked up to 11, and no serving it during the race.

Leaves GR.4, yet I don't really feel like joining the fuel savers. Plus Suzuka was only last Tuesday in the daily C.

Hmm, maybe some more Bathurst and Tokyo, at least they look very pretty in HDR. The lighting in the daily A today is excellent. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some more exciting races.

I got bumped around a lot in my 4 tries of Race B. Split time between the Mustang and Viper. Climbed from 13th to 5th in one them.

Just had a pretty incredible race for Daily Race B at Tokyo Expresseay in the FT-1 Gr.3.

I managed to qualify 2nd which was awesome but I put a little too much power down in the first turn which spun my car and dropped me to last place.

I then pushed the FT-1 as far as I could for the entire race and, despite being spun out by a defending Viper, still managed a 4th place finish.

My Lord, that's impressive. Congrats.

I love these forums but I get so intimidated when i see the accomplishments of guys like u and Alpha Cipher.

I would kill to to just end up in the top 10.

I thought I'd finish 5th a couple days ago at Blue Moon Infield with the Mach 1. But, the guy I passed came back to punt me like freaking Ray Guy (look it up youngsters)

Anyway, congratulations, especially for being brave enough to tackle that race.

Oh my.... I'm committing SR suicide in Race B today. I like Tokyo as a track but Good Lord!. I haven't been knocked around like this in a LONG time. This track is bringing out the worst in people. The one track that I think needs heavy ghosting in sport mode.

Ill give it a one or.two.more shots then move to the lobby. Down from SR S to SR C lol. I'll quit at Sr D

Edit:
Wow this race got toxic. Quit at Sr 27 took all of 5 races to go from 99 to 27. Last race had a clean tight lap with a guy who.i guess didn't want to race so he pit rammed me and I went from P1 to P10. Then had a guy in P9 swerve blocking me and when I tried to over under him he rammed me into a wall... Twice. As i tried to Nose him out for the finish he swerved but I was prepared this time and I braked hard and he pitted himself  I finished with a 2sec oenalty but he had 29sec penalty at finish so whatever.... Ugh

:O
Sorry for intimidating you. The forums are open for everyone. For me, seeing people improve as they post here is just as big of an achievement as the ones I make. An increase in DR rank is just as pleasing to read for me as someone who makes it to the Top 10. Please, feel free to play Sport mode and post here as you wish :)

Took to the GR4 race with a qualifying time that I dare not mention here:guilty:

Started 15th, worked my way up to 12 and felt I was going to finish to 10 (not impressive for u guys but a victory for me cuz it's the 1st time I went manual trans online).

The guys I passed clearly didn't like it and both put me off the track at different times. I received a penalty on one of them, despite being the car that got rear ended as I was breaking into a corner

Ended up 17 out of 18 as 1 guy quit. Otherwise, I would have been dead last after being rudely treated.

It's possible I would have finished last anyway, but I would love to have found out cleanly

My SR remained neutral, didn't go up or down.

@slthree Cheer, just practice more and you will find using manual gives you more control on the car with great fun.👍
It is always great to have another race quickly after one bad result. Sure you will get it right.

Tokyo is so pretty in HDR. I'm racing with a high 1:59 qualifying time, it helps, a bit. There's always some joker that simply rams into T1. Down to 88 SR so far. Despite not getting SR Down arrows when getting hit from behind, it still keeps taking SR points away.
Let's see how long I last, starting on pole now. Means I'll be second or third by T1.

Edit: Success, win 172. Second over took too early, so I got alongside him again before T1 on the inside. Held on to the inside line and took the lead in T2, rest was easy. Clean race bonus, no penalty, escaped the madness :)

Hehe, just wait till they decide to use it as a one make race C at the Nurburgring. Say 25 laps like the 1000 miles event from GT4 . Given that the Mach 1 looks very similar to another enemy of the state (the XA/B/C coupe Falcons), a one make garage event in the '77 Moffet livery wouldn't look out of place on the mountain.

I rather drive the racing karts on the nurb 24h, that was a lot of fun in VR. The samba bus however, too slow even in VR. Tie the wheel down on the straight and have a nap in the back kind of slow :)

I would love a daily C event on Nurb 24h that will last 50 minutes. Once an hour, just enough time in between to qualify again. Time flies on that track.

Edit: Are the leaderboards on Race B still at the 1:56-58 range? I might try to be that guy (no not the rammer) and enter the last races before the new dailies come in

Some more rounds at Suzuka later, I surprised myself how well I did. Rooms were mostly A's and even some S's so I'd thought for sure I could do nothing with the SLS. Turned out that I could just barely cling with the fast guys. I did learn one thing, though. I smashed the pit entry one race and tried to reverse into the pits for service. Game was having none of that and put me back on track to do another lap. :dunce:

I then tried the Vantage just to see if it was better and I almost got into the 57s with the thing. Went racing with it thinking I'd be going off at T1 because I always do that at Suzuka. Not only did I missed doing that by inches multiple times, I actually got a few legitimate wins. If you ask me how I did it, the answer is I'll let you know when I figure that out myself.

Congrats to your wins and thank you for the compliment.
I know a lot of lower rated people complain about having to race super fast guys, to me it's always an honor and the possibility to check my own pace when trying to keep up as good as possible :).
I second your opinion about the car, though it took me a while to get it running.
I was a bit unlucky in that race. Graced a wall on the downhill section of lap 2 which slowed me down and made the guy behind me run into my rear receiving a penalty. After sorting the chaos he was in front of me but soon started to serve the penalty, overtook him, just to let him pass for position on Conrod of lap 3. Big time loss all in all, no hunting aliens but a fair podium at least 👍.
Surprisingly well-mannered races in general ... 5 races for me, 4 poles, 4 FLs, 3 wins :D.

Btw I wondered if you're a member here, now I know  ...
